Title: Anybody checking for Hittman?
Post by: Tha_Blaq_Sinattra on June 02, 2006, 02:29:18 PM
I heard he got a CD out independant. I think we should support that cat. "Act Rite" was a slept on classic. Cause he fell out a little with Aftermath does'nt make him wack.  www.myspace.com/thablaqsinattra

I was like how did knoccturnal come out before Hitt? They shoulda put Hitt out first with Knocc and Game as guests. They would have 3 stars by now on the roster instead of just 1 and game would'nt have had to go through that G-unit fiasco.

Daydreaming, it's fun isn't it...   Hittman doesn't care enough about making music..  Knoc is struggling with alcohol abuse...  I guess Game was the only one that made it through the storm.

I've heard his unreleased "Murda Weapon" album, and I'm sorry, but it's pretty obvious why he got dropped.  Cats seem to think that anyone who gets signed by Dre is dope, but Dre made a mistake with Hittman.  The fact that none of his songs from "2001" became singles says a lot...he was simply not a marketable, talented artist, and that's why Dre pushed him aside to work with Xzibit, Truth Hurts, and Game.

No I'm not checking for hittman. Would have to really impress me with some songs for me to consider buying his album.

Damn.

Come on now! peep the verses- "act rite"-dope, "Bitch niggas"-fire, "Big egos"-flava,"Light speed"-hot,etc,etc. Plus he wrote Dres lyrics. In the Crenshaw district we was anticapating dude. Say Hitt fell out with aftermath, not that he's wack.  www.tagworld.com/thablaqsinattra

but were'nt they grooming knocc to be a aftermath afiliate? was'nt that why he was on "the wash" soundtrack?(by the way, that joint had some cuts on it.)

Hitt fell out with Aftermath because he was wack. ;D

Just cause you say those verses dope don't make it so.  Hittman was simply unimpressive.  He had zero mic presence, and I doubt he wrote any of Dre's lyrics that were of consequence on "2001".

He wrote Dre's verses for Fuck You, Bitch Niggaz, Light Speed and The Next Episode.

I'll agree that he wasn't the most exciting MC on the mic, he definitely had skills.

Bottom line- if you like Chronic 2001, you like Hitt since statistic wise he wrote 60-70% of the lyrics on that joint.

lol.  sorry dude, but lyrics are pretty much have the least impact out of anything on a dr. Dre album.  Just for example, take kurupts verse on Exxplosive.  And that was one of the biggest hits on the album.
