They both had the same amount of pts but the Goal Difference went like this...
Angola 21 Pts 12GF and 6GA
Nigeria 21 Pts 21GF and 7GA
Shouldn't they go with goal difference before Goals Against?

maybe games between each other count before that goal stuff and nigeria overall won their direct matchups

If teams are even on points at the end of group play, the tied teams will be ranked as follows:
1. greater number of points obtained in matches between the tied teams

i agree. Nigeria has always put forth a relatively strong exciting team. Im just fukin pissed that South AFrica failed to qualify and we're gonna be hosting the next World Cup so we better pull up our socks and get better. >:(

lol i was pretty certain Canada wouldnt. we do have an exciting future though in soccer with more programs at the grassroots level and the possibility of an MLS team in Toronto. i think what Canada needs the most to push the game forward in our hockey drenched society is a Canadian soccer star.

i was looking more for an international football superstar who preferably played overseas in Europe on one of the bigger stages. something like a steve nash but in soccer.

France didn't qualify in 1994 and that worked out well for em in 1998

Yeah, plus the fact they don't have to qualify to the tournament they're hosting helps.

i wouldnt mind changing around a few Afircan teams and putting in Nigeria or Cameroon. I want to see Eto'o.
