Diddy Calls Hot97, Talks LP, DETOX, 50/Game Beef!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Diddy called in and said that His new LP will be out by December.
With production by Scott Storch, Cool and Dre, Timbaland, Bad Boy Beat Team, Jazzy Phae, Jermaine Dupri and Dr. Dre
Diddy also talked about Detox. He says He has already recorded vocals for the two tracks he raps for on Detox. Talks about how Dre is a perfectionist and wishes they could have worked together before but schedule conflicts prevented it. Says both tracks probably won't make the cut, but Dre assured Diddy that One track would be on there, so look out for Diddy On Detox.
Talks about 50 Cent and Game beef, tells the tale of publicity and how the East Vs West brought alot of attention to Biggie and Tupac, and that Game and 50 used the same method to move units.
Talks about a new MTV show called "Making the beat", which will showcase diddy trying to catch the up-coming hottest producers, showing them the boards, and making them into A-list producers by the time he is done with them.

The only news piece I wanna hear about Detox is when the fuck is it coming out. I've heard and read so much other shit about the LP there's no way in hell telling who really ends up being there. Seems like everybody and their mama's recorded something for Detox.
-
oh guys i forgot to tell you that me and dre recorded like 5 tracks i layed out the vocals for 4 but i doubt any of them will make it on the final cut... ;)
-
The man got a lot on his plate, but u know it be worth the wait.

LMAO
This album will not TOUCH chronic and chronic 2001
Why, becuase it will have people outside California on it ? If Em ghostwrites Diddys verse like he did on that Biggie joint, then its all good ;D
-
that's assuming though
let's just hope D.O.C is writing everyones shit LOL
-
east coast people are never supposed to be on a dr. dre album under any circumstances. eminem was the midwest exception. dre's shit is all about being westcoast, or it has been in the past, and if he has everyone from diddy to mothafuckin tony yayo (just speculation, I DID NOT hear that tony was on it), then this shit is gonna be well below chronic and '01.
-
I'm tired of dre..
he was good and all..but i think it's time to end..and retire..and enjoy all his money...with something good.
-
east coast people are never supposed to be on a dr. dre album under any circumstances
that was the most ignorant comment i've ever read. period

Rage is from VA. Kurupt is from Philly. Bushwick Bill is from Houston. Six-Two from Dallas (I believe). You already mentioned Em. Jigga ghost wrote "Still D.R.E." and Lord Finesse (If I remember correctly) Produced that joint with Mary J, who's from the East as well. It hasn't always been all about being West Coast, you're ignorant.

alright, ill revise my shit. people who have east coast careers should not be on dr. dre albums with the exception of a select few (eminem and jigga ghostwriting), because it does not fit dr. dres musical style, in my opinion. sure rage and gotti are from the east, but both theyre careers are based on west coast music. im not being ignorant, its just my opinion.

smh at Dre working witt Diddy...what a let down
*Scratches Detox of my cd list*
