It been a good while since I seen some good debates and interesting threads on this site...except a few every now and then...so what albums do u think is better or prefer? Please try actually expandin your answers beyond just "RTD" or "MATW". I'll drop my thoughts later.

bigge, im tired of people saying that pac is the greatest rapper, he was a workaholic, there is a differance.
-
Pac is the greatest rapper, well thats just my opinion , but i think Me Against The World is one of the dopest albums released....

he was a workaholic and a great rapper who poured his heart and soul in his tracks....
-
He was a workaholic that never put out wack verses. Makes him pretty damn great to me.
-
Me Against The World, easily... Ready to Die as a great album, but MATW is one of my favourite albums ever...

Me Against the World -Tupac
Dear Mama is my fav track ever just cuz it means so much to me as i know that without my ma i wouldnt be here today.
-
Ready To Die, I'm also tired of ppl saying Tupac is better than Biggie, I ain't saying Pac was wack but I just think Biggie coz his style is more my teaste of music.
-
i like them both, can't chose :(
-
2 guys at there best.
MATW>RTD
-
I go for Pac cause I'm a Pac fan, but I can't deny the greatness of "Ready to Die"
-
not to accuse anyone in here, but it seems like some hip-hop heads prefer Biggie over 2pac just because it's more "real"...
Biggie was better seen from a purely lyrical point of view, but he couldn't touch 2pac when it came to flow, content, charisma and voice..
all in my humble opinion of course ;)
-
i was going to say ready to die but then i thought about it
beat wise....MATW
lyrical content....MATW
replay value....MATW
to me that's what got it for me.
-
no doubt that MATW was a classic album but the fact that biggie kept that evil type attitude that seemed only the east could bring.....ima stick with my man Biggie Smalls with "Ready to Die"
Where Brooklyn At?!?!?!

in my opinion nobody could put words together the way biggie did, but the actual content of the songs does not come close to what pac was saying. Thats why i think pac is better than biggie.
-
2Pac, you know why. 'Cause 11 years later, I still put in Me Against the World, and listen to it, my girlfriend and I play it in the car when she wants to hear rap music, and with Ready to Die I haven't touched that CD in about 3 years. I might put it back in my CD player today, but just for my personal replay value, MATW.

Content is king. I agree. To me biggie had the better flow but his content was too predictable and materialistic for me.
-
Ready to Die for me. just a better album for me to smoke and chill to. haha.

"And I wish there was another way to stack a dollar
So my apoli', cause these hard times make me wanna holler
Will I live to see tommorrow? am I fallin off?
I hit the weed and then proceed to say FUCK all of y'all"
Me Against The World

Yea...those criterias is what got MATW for me. Takin nothin away from RTD, but I could play Me Agaisnt The World forever...if I was stuck on an island and I had to choose one of those two albums...it would be MATW no doubt. The album just has a whole another depth to it due to 2PAC emotions.
-
It's kind of weird how everyone is assuming that MATW is 2Pac's best album (or that RTD is Biggie's, although it is probably the consensus). Would anyone who voted for Biggie change there vote if it were RTD vs MATW or 7DT? Another aproch would have been to ask "Biggie's best album vs. 2Pac's best album".
-
i'd still choose the 7dt
