I marked great players bold, promising players in italics and overrated fucks are underlined. I think it's closer than you niggas claim. Kobe and Iverson fans go for 96, LeBron and Wade fans for 03. Spice goes for JO. A lot of All-Stars that were drafted in 96 are severly overrated IMO.

Yeah but Nash, JO, Kobe, AI, Ray Allen Those all stars are definetly not overated.
-
2003 for me....
Wade Bosh and James are too good to not vote for IMO....any one of those players woulda been a lock at #1 pick any other year....plus Carmelo.....what a great draft year
Josh Howard, Ridnaur and Henrich are all future stars too
-

Yea, but imagine you would rate them back in 99. Where would JO be then lol? Where would Nash be, Kobe... the 03 stars have a lot they can show within the next 7 years. Comparing them without taking the time difference into account is not fair.

LOL...Kobe, Iverson, Ray Allen, Jermaine O'Neal, Stephon Marbury, and even your Steve Nash could have been number 1 picks as well. I think Kobe being by far the best player of all listed is what makes this draft more lopsided though. But 1996 owns 2003...PeACe

PG Dwyane Wade...Luke Ridnour
SG LeBron James...Kirk Hinrich
SF Carmello Anthony...Josh Howard
PF Chris Bosh...Boris Diaw
C Chris Kaman...Michael Sweetney
vs
PG Allen Iverson...Steve Nash
SG Ray Allen...Stephon Marbury
SF Kobe Bryant...Peja Stojakavic
PF Jermaine O'Neal...Antoine Walker
C Marcus Camby...Zydrunas Ilgauskas
Is the winner not clear?

we are talkin about 3 years after the draft right now like 7even said....JO, and Camby were a bust at that time....Nash didnt even see any minutes and Kobe was lucky to put up 10 to 15 points a night at the time in 1999...the best players at the time seemed to be Iverson Ray Allen and A Walker....and right now Walker isnt even as good as he was then.
-
1996 was more deep. 2003 is a lot like Pam Anderson, is really top heavy, and people love to look at them, but in the end, 1996 is a dime because it was better all around. 1996 is like a fine ass girl with the whole package, including brains. If your a breast man, or you only focus on the top picks, then 2003, but if you are someone who focuses on the whole package, then go for 1996.

What's your point? Overall, as of NOW, the 1996 draft looks much better, which was the initial question...And Kobe was averaging 22.5 PPG in 1999...PeACe

Will have to wait a couple of years and see if any of the lower players in the 2003 list grow into better players.

96' was the year
camby wasn't a bust btw, and jermaine o'neal wasn't expected to be anything big right away in portland, they already had Sheed' and brian grant above him , he was a future investment

if you voted for 2003 - you don't deserve air to breathe or water to drink
