I got a view to share with you. I question if Eminem really IS a producer, or if it's a simple lie. The fact that his production style are almost competely identical to Dr.Dre's and the fact that he has never speaked about getting into production made me suspicious. Maybe Dre (or anyone else) makes all of his beats, and Eminem are credited as a publicity stunt. I know it sounds weird, but it could be true.

lol^....everythang iz possible...but do you realy think EM waz needin" some extra publicity in tha last year and a half...lol?...
i think hiz production iz suprisengly good....and yes...very much effected by dre"z latest production twistz...but still ....very solid.
-
eminem's is alot more simple...but still good

Em is a good producer, and he's also very different from Dre, though you can hear some Dre-effects from time to time. Listen to "Don't approach me" or "Renegade", do you still think it's Dre? Eminem have a more simple approach to producing, but Dre is a vet and always gives you the full package. Then listen to the tracks Em produced on "Devil's night", hear you'll find some that are far from Dre, and other sound like Dre had a hand in the boards, but they worked together on some of the tracks here so it's only natural.

eminem is a deadly producer. im feeling his beats cos he rymes perfectly over them. i remember a interview ages ago when he said that he didn't get enough credit with his production work on slim shady lp
-
He's probably just HIGHLY influenced by dre. Look at "On the boulevard" we all thought that was dre, but it turned out it was Jelly Roll, it was just dre influenced.
-
Em is a amazing producer. Its him defo not dre. He has his own shit to do.
-
lol,
eminem have his own sound, he have many guitarrs and is pretty rocky sometimes, but he is also influenced by dre..
-
Em's production style is more rugged thatn Dre's. I don't think they are similar. Also, I think Eminem directs more on the vocals, cause he has DJ Head do the drums and Jeff Bass on keys and guitars. I think he only used Camara Kambon & Mike Elizondo for "Don't Approach Me." Other than that he uses Head and the Bass brothers.

and the SLIM SHADY EP 4 that matter........
he was producing b4 he ever met DR DRE.........
from what ive seenhe uses musicians 2 play the equipment
of which he constructs the arrangement 2.....
juss like DR DRE.....
DRE has musicians 2 play BASS....ECT ECT ECT
yet ure not questioning his integrity?
and yea i do think EM has quite a bit of influence from him
on the production side....
lets face it.....if u worked side by side with
a producer that has changed the game like he has....
and done as much as he has.....
and he was willing 2 show u the ropes....
u wouldnt take on the offer?

eminem is a pretty good producer but faaaaaaaaaaaaaaar from being dre, eminem has an ear for great melodies but he still sounds a little amiture,i don't really think he sounds like dre you can tell he's influenced by dre but his whole sound is almost a 180 of dre's, KVB stop talking about production becuase you don't know what you're talking about half of the time

Eminem is hit or miss when it comes to producing.
