same here, if i didn't put my system in my car, then i would use a tape adapter and use my cd player. plus my girl doesn't like listening to all my rap so wants the radio.

Word, They Also Play Sean Paul "Temperature", Lil Jon "Snap Ya Fingers", Too Short "Blow The Whistle" & E-40 "U & Dat" All Day Long Too. They Play ONLY Those Songs.
BTW. Channel 933 Isn't A Hip Hop Radio Station.

We get major spins of Cassie too! I never heard our station(s) play Too Short 'Blow The Whistle' though :-\. I hear Faith Evans 'Tru Love'. Rick Ross 'Hustlin'. T.I. etc.

i dont know what the fuck they play up here, and im too scared to find out. after a 3-year break i turned the radio on last winter, heard laffy taffy, turned it off and told myself never again.

The stations in L.A. aren't very different. KDay plays some tight shit from time to time but they're also getting watered down.

93.3 and 90.3 are both owned by Clear Channel gayness.
98.9 tried to do the hip hop/rap/reggaeton thing but nobody listened :laugh: so they went pop.
So now all I listen to is 94.1 and 92.5 :D

man 98.9 was perfect for a while! i remember i could play that station and hear mitchy slick, ecay uno, jayo, etc. all kinda local san diego music. other than that they only played west coast gangsta shiet. now they're z90 jr.
what is 94.1?

Word 94.1 Is Good. All I Listen To On The Radio Is 103.7 Freee FM. It's Talk Radio And Shit. Tom Leykis Is The Shit.

He's probably talking about 93.3, which is pretty much a pop station that isn't afraid to play mainstream rap. 94.1 is the same as the old STAR 100.7. But fuck radio, the only worthy station is KDAY nowadays and you can barely get that in San Diego. I just stick to CDs.

yeah im counting 93.3 as a hip hop station too. they play pop songs, but for the most part, they play the exact same songs as z90
