GO EQUADOR!

Normally England would win from Ecuador, but Ecuador has surpised me in a positive way in the first two matches. We'll see. It'll be an interesting match :)

England , by a small margin like 1-0
-
I say 2-1 in a difficult way that scares english fans again.. lol..
ferdinand is likely to play as he was taken off as a precaution..
rooney will also play..
neville is improving, but isn't likely to be fit for the ecuador game, but would be able to play in the round after.
some Owen news..
"Wednesday's scan confirmed that the injury suffered in the opening stages of England's match with Sweden was cruciate ligament damage and the player may now not see action again until 2007."
I feel really guilty when I think of the people at Newcastle United.
While Owen's thoughts are now fixed on a quest to get fit for his club, the striker, who flew home from Germany on Wednesday, is keeping his fingers crossed he will be able to return on July 9 to pick up a World Cup winner's medal.
"Now people will understand why Sir Alex Ferguson has been jumping up and down at Old Trafford about the Wayne Rooney situation," said (newcastle manager) Roeder.
"As I left the team hotel in Germany yesterday to fly home, I told Sven-Goran Eriksson that I would be back out for the World Cup final," said Owen."

should come through it, Ecuador have surprised people- but they did beat Brazil 1-0 and Argentina 2-0 in qualifying. http://www.livescore.co.uk/worldcup.dll?page=team_ecu
i predict a 2-0 win for us

england will win with not too much effort but not play too well and only win by one goal

I rule
if that english team impresses you, then you really don't demand a lot
-
^ beckham saved the day, beautiful kick...
-
Yeah, wasn't really impressive at all, kinda ironic that the only good thing Beckham did on the field today, was to score that goal, and imo, the keeper should have saved it from that distance.. Terry was shaky today as well, and Lampard lost his goalscoring sense.. today Carrick was better than both Gerrard & Lampard.
-
^ he also threw up lol
-
Murinho ruined Lampard by playing him every fucking game.
Another weak game from England. Rooney is great though.
-
^^ i think only playing rooney up front makes england's offense very predictable...its almost a guarantee that there wont be any aerial crosses into the box...having crouch in there wouldve helped
why doesnt lenon start for england...he along with joe cole has been one of the most impressive for me
once again terry was exposed...very bad
peace

wtf owen is gone til 2007?

Lennon doesn't start because it would mean dropping Beckham, which Sven is never going to do.
