Yo guys, i was over at The Formula and they got some tight news.
"We got some exclusive news for all you DJ Quik fans out there. DJ Quik's new album "Under The Influence" which is scheduled to drop some time around Spring is shaping up to be a pretty impressive comeback for Quick in 2002. With tracks with Talib and Pharoah Monch already recorded, Quik has just recently re-entered the studio with Eminem and Dr. Dre! That's right DJ Quik, Eminem, and Dr. Dre all on one track.
Also, Big Daddy Kane has just recorded a track with Mr. X To Tha Z Xzibit. But what makes this an interesting track is that it was produced by DJ Premier!!
We spoke with Rakim recently and he told us that he and Dre have completed 7 songs from his upcoming album. The first half of the album was worked on in New York with Premier, Ayatollah, and a few others. Be sure to check back with us for more news on the Ra album.''
Well, it sounds dope that QUik will at least have one Dre track, although with Eminem on it too it is gonna be a weird song....prolly will turn out dope.
Big Daddy Kane and Xzibit over a Premier track? YES PLEASE!!
And Rakim saying Dre got about 7 tracks done....hmmmmmm, heard this b4, this better not be bullshit.

Sounds dope. I especially look forward to the Premier tracks.
The Premier & Dre collabo sounds heaven-sent. Premier also
produced the "Eyes May Shine" remix f/ Mobb Deep for Xzibit
back in the day. I'm looking forward to it.

Please let it be true about RA!!!

Who, Quiks? Dre was gonna executive produce it,and it was gona be called Safe and Sound 2.....but that has all changed. Quik said Dre takes forever with his shit, so that prolly has a lot to do with it cuz Quik just signed to a new label and stuff.....peace

HA! Dre had over 90 tracks for his LP. If he wants this to be the greatest hip hop album ever, he's got a long way to go.
