Kurupt is sadly a solid rapper. maybe by todays standards. but there was a time when Kurupt was an emcee you could not touch. Kurupt was one of the best lyrist/battle rappers of all time, and now he couldn't rhyme two words unless they are the same curse word. bitch and shit was a cool rhyme in 88, not anymore.

When one of the dopest mc's of our time drops maybe the worst verse ever in rap history I think it deserves some notice because god knows if it was a tite verse we would have Kurupt fans typing out the verse for us like I did ::)

his verse off Represent the GC off Streetz Iz A Mutha was the start I think. 'Cause before that, from 1992-1998 he was a beast. And I know it's hard for the best of rappers to be sharp for 6 years, and he was about 50% in terms of putting out straight heat, or being straight garbage. But when he re-signed to Death Row, I think that was the end of his career, 100%. Even Daz is better than his now. Sad.

And sorry but Cam'Ron has always had street cred and it's not his fault that he sets fashion trends and has his own style but he has always had respect in the streets and you know it! At least Kurupt was tight at one time, at least you can say dude was one of the best lyrist in his era. Dip Set, all of them Wack. Worst than Daz, Soopafly and Kurupt in 2006.

And I'll say it right now, I'll take G-Unit over Dipset anytime of the week. They are the exact same shit, only 50 Cent was actually a tight rapper at onetime, and he was the originaly king of mixtapes, and Lloyd Banks shits on any member of Dipset.
As for DPG, at the peak, they were the top group in Hip-Hop, maybe second to Wu Tang. DPG was up there, and they were one of the strongest forces ever in rap music. After 14 years, of course they fall off, especially with all the shit they've released since 1992. They've release more shit since Death Row's fall than anybody else, and they kept the westcoast on their backs since 1996. That's 10 years, most artist can't hold a coast for 2 or 3 years, DPG has held the west for 10. Don't give me Kurupt has fallen off. Of course he has, after 14 years, you would too. Like I said back in 2002, we should not be dissing the DPG for falling off, we should be be in awe that they've held up a whole coast, put the west on their backs and kept the coast alive for all these years. They are now at 10 years on top. That's like Rakim being on top of New York until 1997, like Eminem being on top until 1999, Ice Cube bring on top until 2001, and that's not including the DPG on Death Row, that was actually better than the DPG post Suge Knight. Dip Set will not be on top of New York in 2016, hell they ain't even on top now. G-Unit will not be a force in 2012, but DPG has the the standard of the west since 1996, and even since 1992 when the Chronic dropped. And anyone hating on that doesn't realize that they've witnessed the greatest run on top of a coast ever in Hip-Hop. If you don't understand that, then you are a hater.

M.Dogg... You can't be serious. Kurupt and Daz have lived off of Death Row (much like any West Coast acts lives off something 10 years old). Reality is, if the West didn't die out in 1996, there would have been plenty of other stars taking the DPGs place. BUT, since it did and West Coast fans like to stick to the same ol' same, the DPG is still around by default. Sure, anyone will fall off after 14 years, but like I said, DPG fell off 2-3 years after Dogg Food. They had a short lived run, but since they had the backing of Snoop and Dre, they were able to keep their names out there longer. I don't need to be in awe of shit. They haven't held up this coast. None of their projects did well enough to bring spotlight back to the West. Dre is on top of the West. Snoop is on top of the West. Cube is on top of the West. E-40. Too Short. Hell even Game out of nowhere and is on top of the West. DPG is NOWHERE near their caliber.
