i heard the paris/p.e. album last night and he completely killed it. didn't even know he was on there either, i must have slept on the news. this guy sounds like god when he raps, i've been trying to track down tracks he's guested on all morning, but to no avail.
all i ask for is one more album Ren. reincarnated was good, but the production was way off imo.

the 2002 version was posted on oink (big music torrent site). i was told he released it as .zip when www.mcrensofficalwebsite.com (might not be the right link) was still around. it doesn't sound like random mp3s at all to me, but i could be wrong.

Ren needs to get his NWA flow back.
Lyrically he just been droppin basic rhymes for quite a years now and he doesnt even flow with that NWA pace no more.
He should listen to Cube's new record and try to reach that level.
That song he did with Paris werent all that, he can do much much better.
Come on Ren, start to MC.

wasnt the "Renincarnated" that got "leaked" the album feat John Doe? im sure that wasnt the "Renincarnated" he was working on properly from what i remembered hearing...

I think it is... anyway... that John Doe album sucks.. Big Rocc was also heavily featured.. the beats suck, John Doe isnīt all that... and compared to what Ren is capable of doing this is his weakest effort... it sucks... Only enjoyable song is "In da Ghetto" ...

isn't john doe just an alias for ren? as for the guy above you, i'm 99% sure reincarnated is the john doe one. like i said, he released it straight to mp3 around 2002. besides the obvoius point being the rapping under an alias and the album being called what it is, all the interviews i've read (wikipedia) lead you to believe that album was the one he was working on in the 2000-2002 time and i'm pretty sure he hasn't really done shit since then. i even think he announced retirement, but i never actually read or heard that for myself.

In the song "America" Ren goes "Ima throw a fucking twist nigga up in the game, John Doe thatīs my mothafuckin name".
Yet there are almost always two other people on the tracks..

Big Rocc is featured on almost every song. Now if Ren was rapping under the alias then why is there a third guy on every song.
I could believe that Ren maybe ghostwrote for that John Doe guy... So him saying "John Doe thatīs my mothafuckin name" would make at least a bit sense.. but no clue... havenīt listened to the songs in a while to tell if Ren really ghostwrote..

According to www.thugradio.net, RenIncarnated is an album by MC Ren and the group John Doe. It's possible MC Ren is a member of John Doe, though. As for why Bigg Rocc is featured all over, god knows...I know I don't like the guy, at least as a rapper.

I havenīt listened to the the album in a long time but I know that there are 3 guys on the tracks... Ren, Doe, Rocc.
Not sure if there 3 mcīs on every track, but at least on a few, so that shows that John Doe isnīt a group...

John Doe is a young homies of Rens he was gonna let him perform at a promo thing in Torrance couple years back at formula records....bigg rocc goes back with ren like eazy did they was bangin and hustlin wit charles ren's older bro...renincarnated never got dropped that shit was just them fuckin around but it was never meant to be heard just some of tha songs ren mailed out from his website

Uhm, maybe you misunderstood me - maybe because I didnīt express myself properly or whatever, anyways.
I was replying to Rastamanīs post where he suggested that the group "John Doe" consists of MC Ren and Big Rocc. Thatīs just 2 men.
Now when I listen to the songs, and at least on a few of them, 3 MCs are appearing then this suggestion is false. Considered that the songs are tagged "Mc Ren & John Doe - Track X feat. Big Rocc"... Thatīs 3 Mcs to me.
I never wanted anyone to think that this is a fact. It was a reply. I never wanted to be right about it. If you want to form your own opinion on it then I gladly up the album... :-\

i don't hear any 3rd guy, just bigg rocc and ren. i'm pretty sure doe is an alias, sort of like rza and bobby digital. if doe really is a 3rd guy, he's either on track 14 or someone tagged your mp3 wrong.

My mp3īs dont have numbers, so I go by the names.
Listen to "America".. Thatīs definatly 2 different guys besides Ren.
"Bang With Me" , "In Da Ghetto", "John Doe", "Old Times", "On My Dicc" the same...
Thatīs at least 6 out of 13 tracks (only skipped through the tracks now) ...
So either there is a 3rd guy on almost every 2nd track or Iīm crazy... ???

Ren sounds great over Paris beats to me. Problem with Ren is he (sadly) can't carry an album on his own. However, if he did an album with Paris as the Executive producer I think it could be hot.

yeah a Ren album fully produced by Paris would be sick, Infact I think there was talks about it a couple of years ago.
