and everyone thought the 213 Hard Way would be classic? hearing this album is sad because of how much this album could of have been better, SMH @ not Warren G production on a 213 album.
How pathetic was it when Warren G's remix of "Groupie Luv" was 100% better then the original
Could you imagine if 213 released an album in 94'?

would been doggystyle pt 2... no doubt.
closest thing is warren g's debut... had death row let snoop be on that.. (warren references snoop several times but seems he's been removed..).. then we'd know for sure

100% PATHETIC CASE

Its a shame.

Nah I didnt like either album but I didnt think 213's album was as bad as Cali iz Active, I though CIA was a horrible album.

The Hard Way was easily one of the biggest letdowns in West Coast hip-hop. I have never been pissed after listening to an album before until I bought that one.

I agree but Cali Iz Active is just as bad

True, but I already thought it was gonna be garbage to begin with so it didn't hit me as hard lol

ya'll trippin nate killed most of 213's songs, and snoop and warren coulda come harder, but over all the production and ish (while not as good as if warren produced) wasn't bad. I enjoyed the hard way.
-

that woulda been hot. but in 03-04 they were all already out of their prime. and snoop tried too hard to make the album mainstream. he should've let warren g produce atleast half of it
-
funny how people complain about Warren G not having 1 production on it...
he came out with an album produced entirely by him and everyone tore it to bits
I can understand being let down expecting something phenomenal, but majority of the tracks (def. not all) were enjoyable IMO
-
Neer even bothered buying it or listening to it after hearing the 2 first songs, Dogg pound 213 it dosent matter those dudes fell of hard...

hmm, you're just like most people on this forum...

Man this is bullshit!!! i agree that 213s album wasnt that great. Everybody is bitchin about how good it COULD have been, but lets not forget, Warren Gz last album was ABSOLULEY AWFUL.

Im not bitching just sating a fact, im not realy feeling what they have been putting out lately.Sometimes in their lyrics i feel like they live too much in the past as well.
-
213 wasn't great but it was pretty good. Cali is Active is garbage.

So Fly was THE ultimate summer-hit for me that year (2002 or 2003?)...
213's album was a disapointment at first, but it grew on me. Tracks like Joysticc, Appreciation,Give It Up, Another Summer & MLK is damn near classic.
-
i liked the 231 album...but its not one of these albums that i bump every weekend
-
After hearing In The Midnight Hour Im glad Warren didnt produce on the 213 LP.
-
I love the 213 project, that album still gets heavy rotation with me and now that it's summer again... it's on! I'm tellin' you, people are just hatin' on artists attempting new things and trying to grow with the times. Ain't nuttin' wrong with that, I love the grown folk image that album had...
-
213 album was much better then Cali Iz active but it still wasn't very good
no one really expected anything from CIA with how wack daz and kurupt have been
-
yall r some haterz
Ull come to the same conlusion once ull get grown up.....
-
i enjoyed the album, yes it could have been better but it was still a solid album. It wasent a let down imo.
-
Damn, Warren's last album is catching a lot of heat. I thought 213 could have been a classic album with that lineup, but once again I put the blame on Snoop. You have 2 groups with a core sound (DPG- Daz, 213- Warren) and they do not produce one cut on the records. That means that the sound is going to be out of place. And there was not a whole lot of promotion for that album. 1 more single and it could have went gold. I was surprised how much they played groupie luv on bet because I really did not like that song. Different producers might work well for Snoop, but the DPGC already has it's own sound.
-
213 is a actually a great album. people call it a let down just because of Warren G not producing on there, but if Warren G's Name was in the productions credit they would call it a CLASSIC (just like the song Appreciation everybody could think he produced that song). What I like about the 213 record is that its a versatile record, and everybody soundf great on there, nobody cant really hate on this record..its no CLASSIC but still one of my DoggHouse favorites...as for Cali Iz Active, u can tell that they were not into it, that they just put a bunch of tracks together to make it what it iz, sorry but to me Tha Dogg Pound (Daz & Kurupt) iz dead, it should have been a DPGC album (Rage,Snoop ,Nate Dogg,Bad Azz, Soopafly, Lil Half Dead, Warren G, RBX, Goldie Loc,) it would have been way better, lyrically and musically
