The thing is that our defense ain't gonna do rookies errors as Ghana one.. Vieira and Makelele can run the miedfield.. plus I think Henry (and Trezeguet) can easily score ... should be a tight game , Brazil is favorite without a doubt but we'll see

This game is gonna be interesting, cause Brazil wasn't tested so far. Ronaldinho is playing far from his best. I also think the team is too old. They're a great team and can afford to let so many old fucks play, but I'm sure they'd be better if they let younger players play instead of Cafu and Co.

Friday and especially Saturday gonna be 2 great days of quality football. Brazil and England both in the quarters without really performing to potential, but I think both will go through to meet each other in the semis with (finally) good QF performances.

Ronaldo was the best player in the world the last two years before 98 and brazil won the previous WC. Just like this year, Ronaldinho was the best player in the world the last two years before this WC and brazil won the previous WC.

i agree 100% ... everyone had too much confidence in brazil (including myself), they probably thought the goal would shoot itself.

The main hole were Cafu and Carlos. Those 2 played like they couldnt care less. They already won a WC plus theyre old as fuck and definetly not in form.

I agree with the last two except their average is 28. Not that old...
The main problem was coachin IMO...Brazil has the best team in the world, way better then any team in this WC but none of them are came to play. If it was Felipao who coached 2002 WC they would of won easily

yeah,way back 5-2 for brasil.shit brasil was by far the best team in this whole WC but it seemed they were just givin a fuck about everything,just relaxing.ronaldo and robinho shoulda played together since the begining,they were the ones who most wanted the victory and they can work together.I was so excited for big performances by brasil but they fucked it up only having some good moments here and there.the major thing they pulled out was the broke record by ronaldo.parreira was not the man for the job and ronaldinho was such a big disappointment.all the expectations went down the toillet.

Where did Zidane suddenly get his France 98 form back from, he's been doing nothing for the rest of the tourney.
I think Brazil have been below par for the whole of the WC, mainly because they just have Ronaldo standing around up front, not really making that many runs or anything so its all been a bit static, plus Adriano (extremely overrated) has done pretty much the same, but he doesn't even have the out of shape excuse for it. If they were going to play Ronaldo all WC then he needed to have Robinho alongside him so they at least had a bit of movement and pace. The whole team just looked too slow for the whole WC, and that is why as soon as they came up against a team who can actually defend they faltered.

Im so pissed becuase basically Brasil played with 50% in all the games and they were still winning crazy. We all know that was probably Frances maximmum and they still won only 1:0.

France prevent them to develop their game... the game ended 1-0 but a 2nd goal wasn't far.. anyway I said before this version of Brazil wasn't a great team.. great names aren't enough. you can't win a WC only based on talent, preparation, tactic.... are necessary while Brazil was likely in holidays... This team reminds me the pseudo 02 and 04 US B-Ball dream teams , too much confident
