Germany - Italy
Portugal - France

Must be a while since the 2 semi's was all European.  8)

Once again, I say raise the European quota, and cut all the BS teams like Togo, Costa Rica, Trinidad & Tobago, Iran, Angola, Tunisia, Saudi, and U.S.  :P

Definetely. I think its a fuckin disgrace that a team can get to the world cup by finishing ahead of teams like fuckin Bahrain and Qatar.

European teams (add Argentina and Brazil) are the best , it's not new but I think it's cool to see small countries being part of this event, it's refreshing.. Anyway I always said it was harder to win a Euro championship than a WC ..

Of course, as I said a couple weeks ago, Europe dominates football, yet I still like them little teams in, just for making it a literal World Cup. I know you're mad that Norway didn't make it just cause they're European and weaker teams made it cause they aren't, but that's just how it goes. Maybe next time.

Spain 1982

Semi-finals results:
Italy 2-0 Poland
West Germany 3-3 France (aet)
(West Germany win 5-4 on penalties)

3rd/4th place play-off:
Poland 3-2 France

World Cup Final:
Italy 3-1 West Germany

Only the 4th time it's happened, btw
other two times were 1966 and 1934 ('66 did include USSR tho)

only one close to a non-european cup was 1930 when it was Uruguay, Argentina, US and Yugoslavia
