Title: Who started the platinum/gold teeth thing?

Obviously it would have to be some New Yorkers. I know Slick Rick rocked them and Flavor Flav had a mouth full of gold fronts in '91. The RZA and ODB had gold fangs in '95. I would say some New Yorkers in the 80's started the trend in hip hop, who knows who it was, I have no idea honestly.
