Title: Chris Pronger traded to Ducks

for Joffrey Lupul, some prospect and 3 draft picks


this is a serious trade, Lupul is a future superstar and he was their best player in the playoffs

so Edmonton kinda wins this one, plus Lupul's hometown is Edmonton so that can be attractive to fans

but Pronger is real good and now the Ducks have him and Scott Niedermayer and Salei and sophmore Beauchamin on defense

Pronger and Niedermayer is a killer line if they choose to do so, either way the defense is upped

so I guess the Ducks just wanted to add one big player
because they signed Selanne and he's only got 1-2 seasons left of good play I'd assume

I don't really agree with giving away Lupul, he's good and he will be real good and the Oilers got a good deal

but looking at it from a positive aspect as a Ducks fan, at least they got the balls to make a big move

that's gonna be a killer defensive pair in Neidermayer and Pronger

yeah, it's whatever nothin special, I do like the colors alright though


I think the black roads will look cool.... I'm excited about the upcoming season


if you're an Oilers fan u should be hyped about getting Lupul

i didnt like the new jersey; i miss the duck lol

as for me, toronto is still my team...even though i think theyve made sume pretty dumb moves in the offseason
i hope fergeson is released soon

this guy Lupul is awesome, Edmonton won this trade in the long-run most likely



hope the Ducks can make a big run to the Cup again

I agree Lupul is a good exchange for him but I still wish Pronger had stayed with us

The reason he left is because there are rumours going around that he got a chick pregnant in Edmonton, but I think Edmonton definately won this trade especially with two future 1st round picks and a 2nd round pick and I head Smid is very good prospect

Yeo the won the trade in the long run, lupul is young from edmonton and good scorer and they got smid = 2 fist round draft picks

Anaheim on the other ha d got real good right away , plus they can still trade one of theoir goalies and get better....cup finals vs montreal
