They played better. And they had better midfielders and better strikers. It's just that you can't fuck with Cannavaro & Buffon.
It was the victory of a TEAM, less talentous, but 101% italian, a real group, with people giving 101% of them all.
An italian win. Italian DNA.

I think you can survive this match and take it with philosophy. Your team deserved the final, Italy too. Then penalties are a bitch.
I know it cause Italy has lost a WC final too, on penalties (94). And a semifinal (90, in Italy).
Try to forget this shit as soon as possible.

Congrats to Italy and the Italian fans here, they deserved it more than France on their WC performances as a whole. Yesterday I felt France edged it second half and for some reason after a positive 1st half Italy just sat back.

Fine, don't. Still, in my opinion, if you're not Gaul (AKA Barthez, Sagnol, Ribery) then you're not ethnically French. I think this will be the last of my arguments
