I disagree. I've repeated thousands of times i litterally hate Materazzi, and that he's a disgrace to football. And it's a fact Zidane is a hero for me, since he's a Juventus legend. But in this specific game i think it was been Zidane who had to be sent off, and not Materazzi. I mean we don't even know if/what he said to Zidane, we're just speculating. And, even if he said something offensive to Zidane, to do what Zizou did 10' left from the penalties is a disgrace. No, Materazzi didn't deserve a red card. Since when it's not allowed to talk on the pitch against another player? He just talked. He didn't even hit him on the back or something like that. It was a bastard vs a kid.

If you saw the game, there were some signs of Zidane being really pissed even before the fight... when Buffon saved his (great) header, he looked really mad, much worse than he usually looks when he misses, and he yelled something at someone, maybe Buffon, Cannavarro or Materazzi, impossible to say because the camera had a close-up on Zidane.
Materazzi has been a disgrace for years, but that one thing Zidane did makes him just as idiotic.... fuck everyone who's defending him!
