Report: Mike James Agrees to Deal with Wolves
Marc Stein of ESPN.com reports, "The Minnesota Timberwolves' willingness to make a four-year commitment to Mike James has landed them the best point guard still available on the free-agent market. NBA front-office sources told ESPN.com that James on Tuesday agreed to sign a four-year contract with the Wolves worth an estimated $25 million."

I find 2 things funny:
a) I think they're prolly gonna keep Garnett now, and THAT is what should make him happy for the coming season. :D
b) James talking all the time how he wants back n shit, how much he wants to sign with the Rockets, then all of a sudden I see this thread lmao...

LOL, yea...Garnett is most likely staying. I think Minnesota will actually be good this season...Too bad for the Rockets, they could have had an amazing line-up...PeACe

Post by: PLANT on July 11, 2006, 04:23:04 PM: Mike James just called into The Score sportsnetwork (in Toronto) saying that the deciding factor was KG called him thismorning and told him he needed him to sign with Minnesota....he said that once the Big Ticket called him, that was it....I thought he said it was a 3 year deal tho, with a player option on the 3rd year....and it was a better deal than what Houston or Toronto would offer him....He also said that he felt disrespected by Colangelo wanting him to be a back up after what he did last season.
