anyone know what colours the system will be launched at? only black or all colours? cuz befo i was only feeling the black one with the silver lining but im startin to dig the white and silver ones aswell, i want the option of either of the 3, anyone know whats crackin?
and is this call of duty game anygood? i heard part 3 will be a laucnh title with ps3, but what is it about? what you gotta do? and what other games are coming out on launch?

Medal Of Honor is one of the best games period. Especialy playing online, GYEAH!!!!!!!! I'll be taking the black one home. and yea those 3 colors will be available.

I bought call of duty 2 and that game was sick! I cant wait for the ps3 and COD 3

Im not sure if all 3 colors will be avalible at launch,i dont think sony has said if all three will be avalible at launch in all countries
Call of duty 2 for the 360 is sick,and the sequel for the ps3 and 360 will be sick too,its a first person shooter,that takes place durin the war,but the best thing about it is that it actually feels like ur in the war,its crazy how immersive the singleplayer game is. The online multiplayer is also very addictive,put them together and youve got a great game,cant wait for COD3 8)

props, yo is it true that games that will be released on both the xbox and 360 will be basically identical, you won't be able to tell the difference in anything bascally......its only when games that are made exclusively for playstaton 3 is when you will notice the better graphics?

If the ps3 is capable of better graphics... which is still up in the air since the 360 is nearly as powerful. Check out the specs, and look carefully at what's beefed up on the ps3.

the systems r very close,ive heard the 360 is easier to develop games for but that the ps3 is a tiny bit more powerful (is alot less of a difference then say the ps2 and the xbox in the last gen) its not ass big a difference as some ppl think, mgs4 creater hideo kojima said that mgs4 could easily run on the 360 but that it would remain a ps3 exclusive. i dunno if were gonna see a difference in graphics,the bluray discs can hold more space on them so that might be benifitial,but its too early to tell,guess will just have to wait and see..

haha, crazy thing is im a huge playstation fan, i copped ps2 as soon as it dropped but i never hardly ever played that shit, i have no idea why im so excited by ps3, but imma still cop one!

yeah im starting to think about delaying my ps3 purchase till i hear what cats gotta say about it..........one game thats look sick though from that website link you passed me was resistance fall of men, that shits looks crazy, i didnt know the difference in graphics are that big from ps2 to ps3.............i have to say it was gta san andreas that got me back into games, i hadnt touched my ps2 for years befo that.......i dunno what imma do yet......but i think i will cop a ps3.......but who knows

It might have a bigger harddisk and just more extras. The cheaper version definitely doesnīt miss the blu ray player. If it would then you couldnīt play a single ps3 game. Would be funny though. I bet a lot of people would fall for that. lol
Donīt wanna talk bad about the ps3 but right now I donīt see a single reason to get one. Like Black_Smoke and others already said, you can get a 360 AND a Wii for the price of a PS3. Even if youīre a die hard Sony fan then I think you should wait some time cause a) the price will drop and b) possible hardware problems could be resolved. Remember the first wave of PS2? Donīt know if that was a global problem but a few of my friends whou got the ps2 on release day experienced some problems with the dvd player. DVD was a new medium back then, if Iīm not mistaken, and you could see it. After some time the player just didnīt read the discs properly. I was under the impression that more people had similar problems and that it was an known "first generation" problem.

Yea but mine started having the disc reading problems like 2 years after I got it on the first day. then I opened the shit and cleaned the thing that reads the discs and worked again, for like 8 or 9 months. then just gotta new one. Ima buy it anyway, Ima die hard playstation person, I got out of nintendo after the super nintendo didnt like the nintendo 64. Then it was Playstation from there.

The differences between the two versions are basically the size of the hdd.
The cheap one comes with 20GB and the expensive one comes with 60GB plus a HDMI interface and MemoryStick/SD/Compact FLash I/O devices.
