Title: Full Details Of New 2PAC Album!!
Post by: Crenshaw_blvd on January 19, 2002, 06:44:38 PM
This news comes from a tight west coast's web site: www.wildnthawest.com
**********************************************
After interviewing an Interscope repressentative thoroughly last night I gatherd huge amounts of information about the upcoming Tupac album, set for a march release date. Here's the 411:
"It's almost done (The Album), just some tweaking and some authorizations and it will be complete" said the Interscope employee. He later explained, how back in '99 when Amaru, Tha Row & Interscope were re-producing, remixing and editing tracks for the 'Still I Rise' project they did over 50 tracks. Some later appeared on 'Until The End Of Time' a few are on the new untitled album.

We talked about songs that are expected to be on the album and what there like. "It's what I would call a 2002 Brendas Got a Baby" he said of 'Mama's Just A Little Girl', a 2pac solo with a female R&B vocalist. He continued "It's similar to 'Letter 2 My Unborn'". 'Better Dayz' is one of two Mr. Biggs (Ron Isley) assisted tracks (the other being 'We Will See' which will not appear on this album but perhaps another future release).

Confirmend (By Amaru and/or Interscope) tracks set to pop-up on the abum include:

- Better Dayz - Don't Stop The Music - They Don't Give A Fuck About Us - Changed Man - Fair Xchange - Fuck 'Em All - Mama's Just A Little Girl - Never Call U A Bitch Again - Never Be Peace - What's Next - There U Go - Thug Mansion - When We Ride On Our Enemies

He described the new album as pretty similar to 'UTEOT' but with more solo's. I asked of Suge Kinght & Tha Row's part in the release. He replied "Knight had a big role in what tracks were on the album. But not all of his (prefferd) tracks made the album because of differences with Afeni". Is it true Afeni always goes with the "Softer" tracks and Suge goes for the "RAW" shit? "Yep" he answered.

Production was handled by Johnny 'J' (around 10 tracks!) with Trackmasters, The Neptunes & "The usual Death Row producers" (Hutch, Vegas etc) all assisting. Talked about unheard songs were discussed. He said his favourite un-bootlegged song was 'This Ain't Livin (Original)'. 'Fortune & Fame' as Amaru told us also, is an incomplete and very special song (2 verse solo). it's extremely unlikely to be released as no-one wants to mix Tha 'Lawz or anyone else on it. We talked about the Alanis collaboration, we got full details of the song. Unfortunately Amaru asked us a while back to not release any info about this song... yet. Though I can say it won't be on this upcoming album but will more than likely be released.

now how will afeni fuck this album up,  maybe take pac off tha hook on they dont give a fuck about us an replace wit some genaric RnB singer sayin they dont give a fuck about us about 5x,  afeni will let us down once again my only hope is suge will try is hardest to keep these songs in some what there original form but all it takes is a big mac an suge will give in.  No doubt in my mind afeni will fuck this album up... again

personally I am not looking foward too another pac release.  I thought the last one was good, but because of the fact that the materal is so old it played out fast for me.  I seems like whatever songs they put on another pac album will just be songs that did not make the until the end of time CD.  I think we should just let Pac be what he is, a legend.  This is just something for people to make money off of pac.

Afeni definatly has a preference towards Pac's slower/more mellow tracks.......however, she did put R U Still Down together, and that was a very HARDCORE album.......I dont know.......the fact this will have more solos on it is a good sign...
