Royce did an interview thats available in mp3, and he makes a valid point. Hiphop progresses, so stating that someone from 10 years ago is gonna be ridiculous, since there is always gonna be improvement. Why my reasons for Eminem?

1 - he's a dope lyricist
2 - has alot of charisma
3 - ALWAYS improving
4 - from what i've seen, his on stage presence is incredible.

its just my opinion, dont hate. If ya'll disagree, that's cool. To each his own.

i just noticed a little trend after 2pac died and people crowned him the best...biggie was then also crowned the best, big pun was declared the best, big l was declared the best from the underground..and now people are saying aaliyah was going to be the best and that her cd was the best r&b cd of the year (i loved aaliyah but alicia keys' album was better) i just think it became a trend after pac died to say someone was the best at something

imo biggie was more of a rapper who had exceptional lyrical talent but theres alot more pure mc's better than him lyically , in my opinion i'd probably put him as the 5th best ever overall even though i said i could name 10 more rappers
