Ahhh, senior year, 1997-1998.  Get off of school at 11 am, pick up my friend who was suspended and then drive to our friends ghetto ass neighborhood and Ghetto D, I'm Bout It Soundtrack and Tru would be playing nonstop over and over while we smoke up.

Man I miss them days.

Big Ed - The Assassin - dope, dope album; thye most under-rated rapper on No Limit.
Mac - Shell Shocked - again, a really good CD. A lot of people wouldn;t know that the guy was from Brooklyn. He bought a dope East Coast flow to those tracks.
Silkk - Charge It 2 Tha Game - fuck it, I liked this shit. 'If I Don't Gotta' was smooth.
Sons of Funk - Game of Funk - really nice R&B album.
and of course Ghetto D. A lot of people will knock that album, but I got damn neart every track on my Mp3 player.

Edit: Oh shit, and the Bout It soundtrack was dope. That was my first No Limit album on tape in 1997 lol...

What did you pick up Lyrical G?

Nah, The Source ran a feature on him before the album dropped and he grew up in New York. I'm sure of it.

i had to hear those albums from a fam member and i pretend to like em....i really tried but shit was wack.  The only time i liked an album (well  more like some tracks on the album) was the mystical one.  No limit was big but in general shit was fucking wack.
