I havent really bumped this album as much as i should have, been feelin these tunes lately, n has fast became a soundtrack for my summer.
nearly all these tracks are hot.. warren g never really got his props for this album, this is another quality album.
does warren g ever dissapoint???
id rate this in my top 3 warren albums.
-
for a 2006 album its cool
but his earlier albums are hell better
-
yeah its definitly the new flava, but i dont think the old warren sound was selling as much as it did back in that era.. and im feeling his new style
-
I like this album, it's not a classic or anything but I can't think of one song on it that I can't stand.
-
its a good album.....not up there with "I Want it All" or "Regulate", but still, nothing wrong with some new Warren G....Warren caused alot of shit tho around dubcc when the album came out :-X LOL that was crazy
-

u dont need to sell to be dope :D
-
Wack, Warren should retire.
-
I never understood how people can call this wack, if they liked his other albums.
-
I never could understand how everyone was trashing it last year, and now saying they like it. Same thing happened on Dubcc with the 213 album. I still say this album sucked big time.
-
I love this album, I can put it on and just play it thru, most of the songs r dope. Defo got slept on.
-

That's exactly the problem...dude sounds washed-up and hasn't done THAT much differently since he first came out. The few tracks I heard off this album were alright, but I could tell that Warren G still hasn't updated and improved his style enough that I would buy it. The older you get, the less respect you have for artists whose music doesn't mature with them.

I agree that Warren's sound hasn't evolved much, but if the sound doesn't change, it doesn't become wack.
-
I didn't feel it as much in the beginning, especially the first couple of tracks, but it grew on me real quik. Dope album, no doubt. But even though I really dig it, I'd still prefer something like Return of the Regulator more, soundwise. Or his earlier stuff, but that goes without saying.
-
My favorite song is Garilla pimpin with Bishop lamont
-
Warren G did it again 8) DOPE RECORD!!
-
I dont wnna trash it but im not feeling it that much.
-

Yeah, instead it becomes less and less fresh, to the point where I just think, "I've heard this kinda shit before...why do I need to hear it again?" Only a handful of artists have winning formulas where they can get away with making minimal changes to their styles over the years, and Warren G ain't one of them.

Case closed.

but if the 213 album would have had this Warren G production, everyone would have called it a classic
-
Oh, I forgot. The pricks who didn't like this Warren G album (like you), wanted this type of production on the 213 album, but since you guys are never happy, you would have said that was terrible too.
My bad.
-
Ya thats one thing about DubCC I dont get, is how everyone cried about Warren not producing the 213 and then when his album came out everyone trashed him.....

DO NOT talk to the GOD that way again, cracker! I am greater than you, which means that you cannot speak to me that way.
You do not know what I thought of the 213 album, do you? Therefore, do not assume you know my opinion on that album when you haven't even heard it.
-
213 album was aight, better than this.....if warren had produced the 213 album, it would have been wack, his production has lost........i got this album, one of the few i copped a while back and its interesting that the best joints on this album dont even say produced by warren g......just in the recording studio.........while others on the album say produced by warren, so i don't think it was a mistake.....for example, the single i think it was with cube and snoop-----when cube spits some shit like "the black and brown, they beefing again"......i cant remember the song title, but that shit was bangin, but it was not produced by warren
-
Even with Bishop writing his rhymes, Warren was still wack on this record :(
-
yeah, Mauzip knows what's up, you all are idiots when it comes to what u want
and the thing about the formulas.... who tha fuck is doing a crazy formula these days????!!!!!
I'm baffled by this experimental new sound shit, nobody's doing it yet that's what everyone loves
why does everyone have to change their sound if they don't want to?

Mauzip don't know shit. He doesn't know what I want, or what I think of the 213 album.
-
anyways...
-
Warren G and 213 ? Im always saying that it was a great thing Warren didnt produce on that. If he had he wouldnt have brought anything new to the table. After hearing his new album my I saw that I was right.
-
someone hook up the "Game Don't Wait (remix)"
-
^ that one's 2 dope 8)
imma upload that 2morro
but anyways, i love this album 8) bishop lamont & Frank lee whites guest spots are :o perfect album for the summer

That's basically how I felt. I didn't exactly love the 213 album, but I think it was definitely better for NOT having Warren produce on it.
-

wasn't that prod by Dr. Dre?

nah, that's G-Dub
-
The remix was produced by Dr.Dre.
-
oh shit, never knew that
-
Great Album. Its amazing how Warren G gets slept on. His Lyrics and Flow are better then ever right now!

What you dipshits fail to realize is this... (drumroll please) 213 = SNOOP(rapper), NATE(singer), AND........................WARREN G(dj / producer)! It's not a 213 album if Warren isn't dropping beats. Regardless if you like Warren or not, calling this a 213 album is a joke.
-

no one ever answers these questions ::)
-
As an album, this was just above tolerable to me. It's by far Warren's worst album, and I didn't even buy it. If he produced like this for the 213 album (besides the "In The Midnight Hour" track) then I wouldn't have wanted him to produce on it. Then again, I was one of the few who liked the 213 album from the start. After hearing this CD, it makes me think that he should consider putting the mic down. He needs to come with it next time, because I wasn't feelin this one.
-
it was ok..i love the single with snoop and cube
-

Nah, homie, Bishop was writing for Warren on this record. You can tell in his flow, especially the 1st track and Guerilla Pimpin.

Do NOT call the God a dipshit, Jrome. Remember that I am a superior being to you as well.
I don't give a fuck what constitutes 213...the point is, Warren G has yet to produce anything good in many years now. I don't give a fuck if it's a 213 album without his work or not.

AGREE!
-
I thought the album was a solid effort by Warren....although there were a few traccs that through me off a bit...This album is still better than some of his previous solo albums(TALOYS)...People just slept and missed out on a decent album with good production and ok lyrics.
-
Yeah very good album. Especially like dat track called "ahh" with bishop & frank lee white
