I wonder why they didn't do more stuff :eh:
-
In the Mid-Nite Hour sold more then Cali Iz Active? Are you sure? Because I know Warren G's album peaked at #80, while Cali Iz Active debuted at #28. Or are you talking about a different Warren G album?
-
69 Tha Dogg Pound Cali Iz Active 13,163 -57 30,300 43,985
Top 10 Off The Radar
Warren G. In The Mid-nite Hour 4,725 12 4,201 43,393
The latest number I could find for Warren.. but that was early November 2005, when he had already slipped below top 200, he's probably at 60-70K somewhere..

If he had already dropped off the top 200 by then, I kinda doubt 20,000 more people copped it. :-\

^^ He sold 4.725 that week, without being in the top 200, so 16K-20K isn't unlikely at all, after all this is 8-9 months ago.

Hmmm...you might be right, but seeing as how not many folks give a shit about Warren g, I'd rather see some proof. If your right, your right, cant argue with facts.

Warren G, unlike Nate has never claimed Dogg Pound and that has always been his disadvantage. He is dpg by default, his two best friends started it but if you check he never mentions anything about riding with them. When it's beef with Death Row, when Kurupt left he was not upset, and other situations he takes things lightly. Maybe he didn't feel he had much to lose, Well if you don't have much to lose you don't have much to gain or to expect. I think Dogg Pound must look out for Dogg Pound first. He's the DPG's bigg homie and o.g. but he's put himself above it in some way. That alienates him from Dpg fans to an extent.
Karma is a bitch. Nobody's mad though, so it's all good. We should fan flames. Just my observation as a dpg fan
I am a disappointed one at that, they are not acting like grown man in my opinion-and that is not attractive to anyone.e.g they looked more successful and were more articulate when they were younger.I always thought they come in the game like Scarface or UGK at this age.Respectable.They mustn't burden Snoop with the results of their immature behavior. Real Talk.
-
Some of you guys are corny. Why should Warren G be mad because his friends album is not selling very well? They didn't ignore him. They chose to go a different route with a different set of producers. Did 213 ignore his talent? I mean he is in the group and they didn't use any of his beats. They were blocking his talent...fukkouttahere. Besides, this is not 1995, a Warren G beat does not guarentee any kind of mainstream play or love.
-
He was on a couple of songs about DPG, though he never said it himself, like on Streetz Iz A Mutha. If I was Snoop, I'd have Warren produce on a CD

Yeah, Warren didn't get any play at all, "Get You Down" was not played every other song on the radio
-
and whatever dogg pound sold, profits have to be split in two hahaha. or maybe even three.
-
Warren also saved on production.

Funny you keep shitting on their sales but they made more money sellingt his album through Koch then you do at the job you sit and post at from each day.
