I don't know if this is true or not, but Wendy Williams supposedly interviewed Suge and played pieces of that interview on her show today. Anyone in NYC who heard the interview can fill in what he said, since I don't live in the NYC area. Also, Howard Stern said this morning that Suge Knight will be stopping by tomorrow morning. Tha Row's website announced Suge would be on the 106 and Park show next week sometime.
p.s. Tha Row confirmed that "So Damn Hood" will be the first single off of Crooked I's debut album
Looks like Tha Row has generated a lot of Buzz since the signing of Kurupt.

Thanks for the info Mack.

thanks for the news man, i'll be looking foward to what new things are coming up
-
I wonder if they'll be premiering Crooked I's new video on 106 & Park.
-
I wonder why Suge is doing all the publicity for his label. Does he not have confindence in his artists?
-
but you have to promote to sell, thats the only reason almost all of Def Jam artists sell good cuz of promotion like jay z once said "I can take out a wack album but if promote it will , I will still go platinum" I think he said that
-
No doubt, but I'm wonderin' why none of Tha Row's artists promote.

Crooked I, Eastwood, and Kurupt were on Angie Martinez's show twice. They were out promoting the label, but to answer your question why not the artists, it's because the mainstream knows who Suge is. Let's take Snoop Doggy Dogg for example. He gets all the media attention for his label. You don't see E-White or Latoya Williams doing interviews and promotion for their label because nobody knows who they are. I doubt many people know who Crooked I is, especially on the east coast, but I guess that will change after they heard the first single from his album. Who knows, maybe when Suge is on 106 and Park, some of Tha Row artists will be there and Crook could premiere his new video for "So Damn Hood".

Yeah, I understand. But most people aren't concerned with Tha Row's talent, just the controversy that surrounds Suge Knight. He's not going to sell albums like that, same for Suge, Snoop or anybody.

I heard he called DMX a crackhead

I heard he called DMX a crackhead
P-U-B-L-I-C-I-T-Y he wants dmx to answer back , dmx don't even give a fuck about who is suge knight. so

DMX on crack, that shit is old news...Hopefully the dog has kicked his habit and Suge should stop talking about other artists and worry about his own...

The only parts I heard from this mornings Howard Stern was Suge clowning Puffy, J-LO(The Video), and Snoop. Saying Snoop was never a gangster and that Suge told him that this was what he had to be in order to be big; claim to be a gangster. Oh and Suge said Snoop was first trying to be a blood when he decided to give the gangster image a try. Anyways one thing Suge avoided was when Howard asked if he was flithy rich and lived in a mansion, Suge would never answer and changed the subject. But after all this Suge/The ROW publicity, I have no doubt that Crooked I's LP will be released. He's been promoting it all over the damn place that I have a pretty good feeling it will get released.
