from Arrested development. Dont laugh, his new joint is slappin'. "Esmeralda" has a West coastish sounding beat with Speech tellin a story. It's pretty dope.

Where can we hear it? And I don't get why peeps would laugh at Speech. I loved Arrested Development back in the day. Great story tellers, introspective, intelligent, and made great music.

'esmerelda' is not a new song....
i have all of speech's solo albums (6 or so...) and like his style. sometimes he gets a bit preachy, but he's preachin for the right reasons i think so i can accept it every once in a while....i've seen arrested development about 5 times in concert and love going to their shows because they're all about love and unity and shit like that...i posted a comment on speech's website about one of his songs and he actually emailed me back and we had a discussion about it over the course of a few weeks....real down to earth people...
i do feel like they're cursed, though, by having such a huge album a few years ago and never really getting the chance to live up to it. every show has been the same (same songs in the same order) and they just look bored of doing the same sh*t over and over....but big ups to them. they're tryin to spread love and peace....

That's cool a couple other folks are feeling Speech's music. He's definately underated. I believe Arrested Development reunited and are working on new record due out later this year.
