Especially Nate...I mean, he had some great beats on his first solo album. "These Days" and "Just Another Day" are west coast classics, but Nate Dogg isn't exactly known as a producer, why doesn't he do beats more often? Same goes for Kurupt, he produced the most popular song off that same album, "Never Leave Me Alone"...And Snoop as well, he produced 3 tracks on it. That's 3 producers we rarely get to here production from who produced a majority of this great record...Anyone know why they choose to stay away from the production side of things?

Cause I dont think they are that great at producing, when they produced tracks I am certain they had loads of help, probably from warren g or soopafly

Yeah I think back then they were just fuckin around with the beats. I just pulled out that Nate Dogg album and that G Funk beat Snoop did was the shit. They probably were just chillin in the studio and asked Dre or Daz to show them a few things on the boards. By the way, Snoop has had alot of dope beats on his own. Like that Pay For Pussy beat on the Game Is Not To Be Sold
-
If im not mistaking Snoop dogg produced the track Dont BE Foolish...and thats a TIGHT BEAT didnt he produced "Real Talk" also with LT Hutton?
-
The real question should be when is Soopafly gonna put out an album????
-
^^^That is what I am saying! Long overdue.
-
kurupt produced the original to tattoo tears the 2pac track and i thought that was tight
-
Kurupt should worry more about lyrics and less about producing....- ;D

How long ago did they make those beats? If they're production skills have declined like their lyrical ability has, then I don't know anyone who would wanna hear those beats.
Who knows how much they actually did on those beats... I'm sure you could credit people like Daz or Soopafly to giving a helping hand.
-
thats a fact...but Other Than Sooo Much Style from Dogg Food...what else did Kurupt produce?
-
Kurupt doesnt have time to produce! And where has Nate been?

Kurupt produced Nate's 1st single "Never Leave Me Alone" from his first album........the song is tight and the beat is nice.
As for Snoop, has he ever made a track by HIMSELF? What about Nate Dogg? Nate did NOT produce These Days, that was Daz........

Sorry, Nate is credited in both the "Gang Related" soundtrack AND the "G-Funk Classics" album as the producer for "These Days". Maybe Daz helped, but who knows...As far as we know, Nate is credited for doing all his beats solo, same with Kurupt, while Snoop always has a help at hand...LT Hutton was the one co-credited as the producer on most of Snoop's beats...PeACe
