Anybody else notice that Snoop's head was somewhere else whenever he was recording this album? The Doggpound and the LBC Crew saved his ass on this album and made it atleast respectable.
Did ya'll know that Snoop had finished a dope LBC Crew album on his Doggystyle Records label, but Suge turned it down? (Doggystyle was an imprint of Death Row/Interscope) If Suge would have been smarter with the music he should have never released the "Doggfather" album, and put those LBC Crew tracks from the Doggfather, onto the LBC Crew album and they probably could have sold as much as Snoop's album sold anyway. The Dogg Pound tracks they could have saved for another Dogg Pound album cause at that time Kurupt and Daz were still at the top of their game.

bah

that's arguably snoop's 2nd best album to me..
-
i dunno man..
i think snoop's head was definitely in the album.. he was trying to prove that he didn't need Dre to go platinum.
i do think that the LBC Crew shinned on Blueberry and Gold Rush..
Suge should have given Snoop some of that bread and expanded his business. If so, he might still be doing business.

I thought it was a solid album, still bump it almost 9 years later....LBC Crew was tight and it was a shame there LP never officially came out
