Title: 2pac's Flow is Unfadeable.. Underated
Post by: infinite59 on January 10, 2002, 12:38:46 AM
I'm tired of muthafucka's claiming 2pac ins't the greatest  mc, but that he's the greatest rapper.  Explain?  How you figure?  Just because he doesn't use metaphors.. like "I'm iller than a Muslim Eatin Pork at a Polk African Festival"..... it doesn't matter... he's the G.O.A.T.... and his flow is second to none.

I've been saying this for centuries. Pac's flow is one of the best and yes he is the G.O.A.T.!

Pac is the dopest MC out there but hey... UNDERRATED??? C'mon motherfuckers, every motherfucker I meet in the Net or in the street is mainly on Pac's dick, his records come multiplatinum everytime, his lyrics are studied in Universities, even my Momz knows who the fuck he is!!! Underrated? Come on, man!

'Pac's flow doesn't get uch credit, but that's the whole idea. When I listen to 'Pac, I don't think, man he has a great flow, and that's to his credit, because his flow his so smooth that it's easy to listen to. 'Pac is the G.O.A.T., hell, people in Cali have been saying it even before his death. It's just know everyone else is able to admit it. After all, people have said Biggie, Rakim, but until now, only Cali has said 'Pac.

i think that 2pac was ONE of the greatest but IMO he was not the greatest i think that snoop dogg is the real G.O.A.T. i know imma get hated by all the pac dickryders on this board but i don't give a fuck. okay first off for people sayin pac was underrated? thats the most fucken ignorant thing i've heard in my life everyone fucken praises pac like he was a fucken god but not all his shit is good. so don't hate just cuz i don't think he's the goat and snoop is. peace

I think infinite59 meant that 2Pac's flow was underrated.

i think what makes pac the GOAT (which he is) is that he is great in evey category only lacking in the way he rhymes  and free styling

i mean his voice is perfect
his flow is perfect
his lyrical depth is up there with all the greats in overall music (no one in rap is up here with him)
he's consistant when it comes to overall album making , i mean damn everything from 2pacalypse now to makaveli is  either classic, near classic, or holds alot of importance

rhyming words, he wasn't horrible at this, but he wasn't the best (and when alot of people don't give credit to pac as being the GOAT it's either A: becuase they just ain't feeling him or B: becuase all they listen to in rap is the actual words being rhymed [it's all good if you do this i ain't hating])

freestyling-just wasn't pac's bag but many Lyrical rappers (rhyming word lyracists) lack a decent voice and flow

hell even Ras Kass and Nas have said exactly what i've said

and yes PAC is the goat just like Michael Jordan, he wasn't the best at rhyming words, but jordan wasn't/isn't the best shooter either....it's how they excell in more ways than one that makes them the best

also it's not hard to say Pac wasn't best MC becuase by every means Pac can hardly be called an MC....he's a Rapper

i think C-lo said this best when he was distinguishing the diffence between an MC and a Rapper

an MC is who you'd call upon if you want a Freetyle or a lyrical compitition at a hip hop event or something , some one who just free associates words nicely, but 8 times out of 10 you won't get a musically great album from unless that's all you care about is free associated lyrics

but a Rapper is someone who makes musical sound records and can be an MC to an extent but is more of a recording artist

that pretty much cleared shit up for me, and i think it's safe to say that Pac is the best Rapper....which i guess overall in a MUSICAL scence is a better thing than an MC, but if you're just conformed to the ideals of what pure hip hop is than an MC is better....so Rakim is the best MC (not to say that rakim is just some free lyric associator. but he is the greatest pure MC though)

Pac: best Rapper
Rakim: best MC

i agree with that somewhat although even if he is overrated he is still my second favorite rapper of all time second only to snoop.

Jake's mad on point wit that, undoubtably Pac is G.O.A.T, but he was a rapper not an MC, look at cats like Rakim, KRS, Chino XL etc, their MC's, they freestyle on the spot, Pac was a rapper and the greatest one at that...

Jake came and shut yall asses up.

Pac is overrated by the way. Mostly, my problem is with the "fans" who'll scream that 2Pac is the GOAT because someone else told them that he was. They'll only listen to him cause other people like him. For example, i'll be at school, and some'll say "2PAC's the best!!!!!"... and i'll say "Rakim's a better MC." First of all, Rakim is a better MC, but most people dont understand what an MC actually is. And second, those ignorant fans will say something like, "Well, ive never heard of Rakim, but 2Pac must be better."  >:( ???
