in my eyes the 2 biggest releases of this lonely year 4 hip hop .. glad we have these 2 bangin albums
were almost 3/4 thru the year and these albums are the standout's ghostface with his 5th release 2nd from death jam named fishscale is a great cd only thing i was pissed @ is the retail version cut the barbershop song short which in the second half had one of ghosts best verse on the cd, along with death jam giving this cd no push no 2nd vid yet i don';t know wat jay-z is doin but he has a monster album under his big lips
the last stand is the 3rd group release ( i believe) from the bootcamp clik this time around we have the vocals that were missing from the chosen few THE ROCKNESS MONSTER is back bringin his grimey flow along with the rest of the great 8, the 1st single is from the 2 duo's of the group heltah skeltah and smiff n wessun called trading places ... if u haven't seen the vid it's WORTH watchin http://youtube.com/watch?v=s_OoOJL9vK4&search=boot%20camp%20clik
this album has that east coast feeling all over it, alot of grime all over this shit from start 2 finish, i have no beefs with this great album which is also fishscale (pure cocaine)
but if ima give a third leg up on which album it's gotta be the last stand ... from the #1 independent group in rap (sean price- were the #1 independent , use a bird going gainst yr word snitchin on yr co-defendent) thers NO commercial tracks just pure NYC underground hip-hop this is a album i believe hip-hop needed gettin away from pink shirts, cars, women this is just about the game hip-hop skillz bigups tp the BCC ... also new sean price album jesus price superstar in sept the follow up album from the #1 independent album of 05 monkey bars
