in the latest issue of the source with JD on the cover, there is an ad for MCA Records called ESSENTIAL BEATS MCA 2002.
At the top of the add it says
BIGG SNOOP DOGG HAS PAID THE COST TO BE THE BOSS-HIP HOP;S SHARPEST SUPER STAR WELCOMES U TO 'THE HOUSE' BY DROPPIN HEATERS ON HIS NEWLY FORMED LABEL, DOGGY STYLE RECORDS. OHHH WEEEE!

Snoop paid the cost, now he gon be the boss.. hopefully. Gotsa pick up the Source then, but JD on the cover? I guess he can afford it, but he doesnt deserve it. Someday they might someone who deserves it on the cover. Someday.

i think that JD deserves the cover of the source. hes been kicking it in this rap game fro so long now. he made kris kross, and so so def records. hes a pretty good business man.

I aint record-hatin, I just mean that there's people that deserve it more than JD. I actually like JD, but that's as a producer, NOT a rapper. He also a good CEO, or whatever his position is, but c'mon his album was not great !! It had a couple of tight tracks, but by no means a classic. He could have made a lot more out of it I think. I aint got +Hate in your blood+. Peace.
