The Toronto Raptors will host Israel's Maccabi Tel Aviv in a pre-season game for the second consecutive year.
Toronto will also host Boston on Oct. 11, New Jersey, Oct. 15, and Cleveland, Oct. 22, as part of the 2006 pre-season schedule announced yesterday.
The Raptors lost to five-time European champion Maccabi Tel Aviv last season, when Anthony Parker hit a shot at the buzzer to give the visitors a 105-103 victory. Parker finished with 24 points.
This time around Parker will be in a Raptors jersey, after Toronto signed the former Maccabi star in the off-season.
Toronto's pre-season road schedule includes trips to Washington, Boston, Chicago, and a game against Cleveland in Rochester, N.Y. The Raptors open the regular-season Nov.1 in New Jersey against Vince Carter and the Nets.
Should be interesting...PeACe
