Murder Inc/Def Jam chart blazer Ja Rule has been nominated for 3 Grammy Awards. One for BEST RAP ALBUM, one for BEST RAP PERFORMANCE BY A DUO OR GROUP for the song "Put It On Me", and the final nomination is for BEST RAP COLLABORATION for the song "Livin' It Up" featuring Case.
Ja Rule latest album "Pain Is Love" shot to the top of the billboard charts and is currently double platinum. Ja Rule will appear on the new Jennifer Lopez remix album. He's featured on the track "Aint That Funny" which also features Murder Inc. label mate, Cadillac Tah

man...all i gotta say that the RAP nominations for the GRAMMY AWARDS are a total joke...and certainly doesnt represent the general opinion of rap fans and purely go by the number of albums an artist has sold.. they follow the rule that is "quantity is better than quality"...

Damn right, they cant even tell the diff. between Rap & R'n'B.
I mean, nominating Missy & Destiny's Child as hip-hop, give me a holy break. They only judging by sale, they should have a jury consisting of a broad selection of people, with diff. music-taste. I mean they should have Garth Brooks & Willie Nelson judging the country-genre, Madonna & U2 judging pop whatever, and then some hip-hop-veterans like Dre & LL, Kool G, knahmasayin?
