That's right! Just a few days after we finished our Snoop Dogg 'epic', we're back at it with another Hip-Hop legend: we connected with Ice Cube for an in-depth interview.
After recently releasing his solo album "Laugh Now, Cry Later", Cube linked up with dubcnn to speak about a wide range of topics. We went all the way back to the C.I.A. and N.W.A. days, to his days with the Bomb Squad, the "Helter Skelter" project with Dr. Dre, all the way to the situation with Mack 10 and Westside Connection, Mr. Short Khop, the Aftermath project, Ghostwring, "Cali Iz Active" and the new album "Laugh Now, Cry Later".

I could actually see this happening. Cube's gangsta conscious mixed in with a little Homosapien verbalism shit. They just gotta find something in common, ignore differences, and do it!
Speaking of Common, you forgot to ask the Megadon about the diss he received from Common and Cypress Hill back in the day. I wanted to hear his response.

Did Cube say anything about Dub C touring to promote his new album?
Cuzz, I can't wait for the new WC album to drop...I see he's aiming at a spring 07 date which is cool...Fucc'd up to hear about what happened between Khop and Cube cuz Khop had a banging ass album he put out, but Cube has been banging out different acts for a while only to never here from them again...I hope Cube settles things with Mac 10 and puts out another Westside Connection album...That last one wasn't that good...but I could go for about 2 more since Cube is feeling it right now....lol @ Dre, Interscope, and Aftermath for trying to low-ball Cube like he's some unknown nobody...I'm glad he didn't wait on Dre to do the record, nigga hasn't need Dre in 15 years

The AMW recording sessions just him n Jinx going thru and diggin thu all those crates of records ol skool style.
Damn even Cube thinks Eazy might not of died the way he did, yew he gave Eazy the ultimate respect saying without E there would be no Ice Cube that we know.
You settin up Madness4Real with Toones!! :o Damn they responsible for a lot of classic G-funk for a lot of classic Westcoast artists, Cube one of them.

If theres a record that could be even doper then Detox (if Detox it lives up to all expectations, which it should) then it will be the NWA record.

Ice Cube didn't start no shit, or give any crazy ass answers, he kept it real, gave solid answers, he's just not the type of cat to go over the top and talk and gang of shit I guess..
But as far as questions asked, I tried to cover everything that would interest ya'll.

Like said, questions were exactly the right ones. Seemed a bit like Cube was tired though, I listened to the ausio while I was reading. But it's all good, the Connection and Nima still held it Down like always.
That was a trip to hear that Eazy and Jerry actually paid Cube the money after he left though. That shit came outta nowhere.
And WC's album coming in the spring - cool shit. Good taht Cube was realistic about it and didn't set any kinds of dates for it yet. They just need to get in the studio and bang that shit out! 8)
Once again coming through with the real it's the Dub!
What we all waiting for though, is the one dude nobody ever seems to get - the Doctor. Everybody's waiting on him or talking on behalf of him - it would be about that time for the fans questions to be asked from the man himself...

Hittman didn't claim Cube used ghostwriters, he said he was considering writing something for Cube, which is why i brought up the subject of ghostwriting and Cube said his piece on that!
