yo props on dubcnn for the snoop interview......i really felt y'all and snoop came through bigtime with that interview......but now i wonder what people think of dubcnn ater this.....face it snoop is one of the most talked about and most easily recognised celebs in the world....and everything he says gets heard.......now y'all kind of had a no limit interview with the nigga.......he let it be known but like he does when he raps.......or drops an album, he kept the interest in the interview........his charisma even comes through on an interview.....which imo was the best y'all done..........but what y'all at dubcnn think this does for y'all.......and what other cats think this does for dubcnn...drop y'all thoughts,
by the way y'all at the dub should take advantage of this.......peace......oh and y'all better be showing snoop some love if y'all want another interview befo the album drops,lol.....does he know about the response he gettin for this interview?
peace

man that interview with Snoop was HUGE> Ive already seen other sites quoting that interview saying "Snoop told DubCNN"....
shit, even XXL.com is quoting shit from DubCNN......DubCNN is the shit.
-
Yeah I spoke to Snoop a couple times since it went up, we talked about doing an interview strictly about unreleased songs and studio sessions from back in the days... He asked me to send him some unreleased stuff like 'No Bacctraccin' and shit so he can re-record them to get them heard..
So if he comes through there will be a lot more coming from the Dogg on dubcnn.
He was very pleased with the feedback though...
-
But about the topic, I don't think snoop made a name for dubcnn, I think dubcnn earned its name by hard work and good articles and news since Sept. 8th 2002 when we first launched... The Snoop or Ice Cube interviews are a logical consequence of hard work...
-
damn Nima, that would be sick if Snoop re-recorded No Bacctrackin......always wanted to hear that track
-
Yeah he said Meech Wells produced that, and it would be nothing to get him back into the studio to redo that, hed just have to have the original to see what it sounded like...

no doubt........imo i think snoop has now put y'all up to the next level, its now up to y'all to stay without loosing the roots of dubcnn......which y'all will not...........but i hope you aint offended by this thread homie, it is just raising the question! and keeps dubcnn gettin talked about! haha......
about snoop doing another interview about unreleased tracks, that would be dope, y'all just gotta time it right! and i know u got nuff shit you could send to snoop!
-
I think Snoop prolly has the biggest catalogue of released, and un-released music in the biz.....dudes prolly made a million songs by now
-

did he say at all why No Bacctrackin was never released?
I remember around the time Last Meal was about to drop, it was the most talked about track in hihop....And XXL had Snoop on the cover back then they were even talking about No Bacctrackin and how dope a record it was.
-
y'all should ask snoop about what shit him and dre did that have never been released and when was the last time you both worked together on a track.......or where he produced and snoop rapped.......
-

Yeah, Snoop is always hopping on bandwagons.
50 Cent, Pussycat Dolls, Neptunes, Justin Timberlake, Mariah Carey, and now Dubcnn.
I think Snoop is planning to put "Endorsed by Dubcnn.com" on the Blue Carpet CD-cover.

damn im surprised Snoop dont have "No Bacctraccin" some where considering how he was the one who leaked it to radio and played it for XXL...still though im hella excited to hear he is gonna try to release the song its about damn time
-
DUbcnn is tha shiiiiit
-
Oh so he's in the mood to redo unreleased tracks.. I wish I had all these unreleased tracks I had.. Ask him about the "Gold Diggaz" Song with Ke'noe, shit is banging, he should redo that song for sure and release a vid with it. If I have any request, i'll come back in the thread...
I think Dubcnn made a name for themselves so Snoop and his label feel like they HAVE to give the dub an interview if he wants the net to hear it.. and then, the SNoop interview just made Dubcnn blow the fuck up. When you have XXL quoting your website, you know you doing something right, keep the shit going, great job!
-
Basically, Dubcnn does a very good job at everything they do and it's a very comprehensive site. It's gotten to the point where they are a legitimate venue for an interview, probably more legitimate than a lot of the other places Snoop has given interviews. Also, there isn't likely to be anyone with the exposure (read, number of viewers) that Dubcnn has that actually has an intimate knowledge of Snoop's career. If he gives an interview to MTV, they're going to say "When's the new album? Do you still talk with Dr. Dre? How were the Pussycat dolls?" if dubcnn does an interview, Nima's going to say "Have you worked with Crooked I?" and shit like that, that any other place wouldn't even know to ask or get info about.
It worked out really well, Snoop is a very good promoter, and steered the interview towards what it needed to be a commercial for his work, and Nima asked good questions to get thoughtful answers out of things that fans are concerned with: best of both worlds. So in the end, you've got an up and coming news website getting it's biggest, hugest, oh my god we're gonna mark out for this one interview of all time, and Snoop gets an interview that's respectful enough to actually know something about the person they're interviewing.
-
Props, been reading you guys for about 5 years.

Damn......That's real as hell!!! Even in rap magazines and MTV, Rolling Stone, AOL, etc...they do ask hella generic questions. And Nima is a beast with interviews...he wouldn't back down or kiss Snoop's ass everytime he said something, but he would never say something that would offend him or turn him off to being in the interview.
I posted some parts of the interview on another site I go to, and one dude was like "dammn!!! That is one of my favorite websites now!!" and he wasn't even from the west coast.
-
I think dubcnn has a real pulse to the west coast. All styles all mc's. In a time when it seems like nobody cares about the west dubcnn really keeps the buzz going. And once Lil Jay joined it was over. Westcoast 2k was the other site I would go to for west coast shit. Those 2 sites was what made me want to start my own shit.

That's the truth right there.
Shit, real recognize real. DubCNN been had it poppin for a good while now. It was a big deal, yes, but not really a huge surprise (at least to me) that Snoop would get down with y'all. And now with the exposure that the Snoop interview has generated the direction's still the same as before, straight upwards, but with more momentum. But it ain't just because Snoop was on the site - it was the quality of the interview. The fact that it wasn't another generic one made people pay attention. The staff has always brought just that - the real shit.
I remember back when DubCNN launched, I thought it was some cool shit, fans relaying the real shit to the rest of the fans. Just like Westcoast2K was. With the merger it only got stronger. It's been cool to watch the site grow more popular both among readers and the artists - it's always been a site that brought dopeness and made people on both sides of the computer screen pay attention, and y'all just kept that ball rolling to this day. DubCNN doin' it big bigger the biggest.
Love y'all.
-
And it does not hurt that you guys are actual FANS of the music. It is like dubcnn is an extension of us. Many question I would ask a artist if I had a chance you guys ask anyway, so it's cool to know that you guys will get the info.
-
Snoop the King of the west, but he a fake ass nigga 4 real
-
DubCNN was already on the up!
Snoop must know how we appreciate him here and realised this was the best place for him to do a proper interview with intelligent questions.
-
we love ya'll ;D :-*
seriously people, all this positive talk and feedback only spurs us on more, you know ill steer the good ship dubcnn in the right direction :) we got to do it ;D
props guys
-
Tha Snoop interview was tha shit! Some good shit! Propz!!
-
Yeah all the feedback is definitely appreciated!
-
Except for that Rudder guy. Making jokes about steering a boat when his name's Rudder. I dunno about that guy.
LOL
-
I know that Snoop has dropped interviews here before, and so have many cats. DubCNN's rep is growing bigger, and with a Cali rebirth, a website that's offical like DubCNN is needed. We will not get no mags to give Snoop an interview like that, but they'll print the bullshit that comes out of it. It's up to DubCNN to dig for the truth, and the mainsteam will follow. Although I think DubCNN is mainstream now. Just keep doing what we doing, mixing in the underground with the mainstream, and people wouldn't know what hit them.
-

lmao..

if y´all were to get an interview from Game like this it would be a wrap. but he don´t really seem to enjoy doin interviews as much as Snoop. and it would be hard to get an interview as extensive as the Snoop one with a guy that´s only released 1 album.
-
^^ I feel you, it would be good if Game would come clean on a interview, and put an end to all the gossiping.
-

Good lookin with the Snoop interview. I really enjoyed hearing that. Props.

Nima.. I was thinking.. Dubcnn should see if Snoop would be willing to do a mixtape with you all with that unreleased material. That would help get Dubcnn out to the masses even more.
-
This interview didn't made a name for dubcnn.. it's just show that Dubcc gets bigger and bigger.. The main point is people who make the interviews, ect just know a lot more about the WC , its history, its artist AND links between them than others medias.. now a Game interview in which he clears things up, would be nice, without mentionning Dre but it's really difficult to reach him ..
-
It can only go up from here!!! 8)
