Post by: rik on August 10, 2006, 11:15:01 AM
Here's an MTV. Andre called MTV news himself to say that they're not broken up. I don't know though cus they been saying that for a while and they still ain't doin songs together and Andre still ain't rappin.

Andre doesnt wanna tour. He thinks it's lame to perform your hits live. So much respecting your fans.

When Andre eventually does break off, he won't be successful for the simple fac tthat he ain't spittin those rhymes that got him respect in the first place. His solo stuff is too eccentric to catch the ear of most people. Unless he does tracks like Hey Ya, then I don;t see it happening.

speakerbox wasn't that fly either, those beats were to eccentric and unlistenable. He still got that lyrical shit but I can't focuse on it with fucked up beats

I loved their last album. It woulda been so much better though if it was an entire group album.

Outkast are still together but they haven't recorded any music together in the same studio since 'Stankonia' because Andres too busy pursuing an acting career and Big Bois sticking more to music. However, they are planning an actual Outkast album where they are together on every track after the Idlewild soundtrack comes out.
