:nawty: (http://www.thefucksociety.com/forum/images/smilies/nono.gif) I really Want Al but i don't want to give up Bynum..Hopefully Mitch could find a way to get him to L.A. :D
Al Harrington has yet to find a home and the Lakers have often been mentioned as a suitor. Unfortunately for LA, the Atlanta Hawks want a package that includes young center Andrew Bynum. That's a price the Lakers are simply not willing to pay. They have very high hopes for Bynum, who made dramatic strides in his second summer league. Still just 18 years old, Bynum's development is still inconsistent, but LA is more than prepared to wait. With Bynum off the table, the Lakers have a standing offer based around Chris Mihm. Should all other discussions fail, including those with the still favorite Indiana Pacers, the Lakers could be a fallback option.

LMFAO!!! Daz sold 'em some crack, he needs to stop fuckin' with the ATL...

LMFAO.
I donno though.....it is very, very tempting. I don't know if I really want to spend Kobe's prime developing a Center who will be anywhere from Ostertag and Felton Spencer level, to Brad Daugherty Jamal Magloire level....and Harrington is ready to go and in his prime right now. I really can't say though...I'd say that if we hadn't already had hope in Bynum, and if he hadn't already built strong bonds with Kareem and others, then we should do it...but it might be something we look back at 8 years from now and want to shoot ourselves for.
So I'd say..........errr......no......unless they throw in somebody else with potential, which I doubt they do.

I'd wait at least another season or so before deciding whether to let Bynum go or not, he still has time to grow & develop as a player, he's already showing progress from the SPL games...
-
Like R-Tistic said...I don't want to waiste Kobe's prime. Dude is hot right now and he needs to win a championship ASAP. Mitch needs to get Drew Gooden in L.A.
-
LOL, any Laker fan even considering this must be cracked out. Bynum woulda' been a number 1 pick in this years draft, he dominated the SPL games, everyone who's seen him has had wonderful things to say...Harrington is a free-agent, he was about to be in a sign-and-trade for a draft pick, why would the Lakers be dumb enough to give away their number 1 prospect? ::)
LMAO@Drew Gooden in the triangle... :nawty:
-
harington wouldnt be happy in LA. There's only one ball, and with Kobe and Odom taking the bulk of the shots, Harrington would quickly get tired of not scoring AND losing.

Yeah against a bunch of second string rookies. I swear he did one spin move on Shaq and some people are already attatched to this kids nuts.
Drew Gooden > Bynum anyday

LOL @ this Sheep..
Odom is not even a scorer..<--Thats the 4th best thing he does. Al would have a chance to be the 2nd option on the Lakers. Kobe would let him do his thing but you're a sheep that's been brainwash to believe Kobe's a ballhog & won't let players shoot the Ball.
Losing? lol yeah, the Lakers are a worst team then the Hawks ::) ...He would love to play with the Lakers couse he'll have a chance to win a championship.
-
Al is still coming to Indiana, I am very confident in that!!
-
i dont' see al harington in LA right now
