Hi,
My name is Luke...and I'm an alcoholic
lol...so i turned 21 like a month ago...and i don't think there's been a day since where i haven't consumed some sort of alcohol...not even getting drunk mostof the time....just drinking because i want to...or cuz i can? its crazy...
did this happen to everyone else when you turned 21?
-
yeah well, my friend turned 21 in april and hes a pretty bad alcoholic too, plus he goes to casinos alot, and hes blown whole paycheck in one night, its been 2 days for me and i've been drinking all week, plus im drinking tonight too soooo
-
I dont drink, Smoking is my thing
-
I don't smoke often...i only smoke cigs when im drunk and i only smoke weed like once a month...i haven't gone to any casino's yet...i know i'll blow too much money so yeah....

-
Fuck Cigs I only smoke buds
im unfortunately addicted to both.
-
thats whats nice about my habits...i'm not addicted to either...i only smoke when im drunk (so like once a week)...and weed is only when i go to my buddies house after they play shows (which is once to twice a month)
-
I'll Find out on Wednesday.... :)
-
I quit smoking weed at 17 afer starting at 12 and cigarettes i quit last year. I barely drink anymore. Pussy is my drugs
-
That's what I'm worried about when I finally hit 21 in 2 months. I'll be busting my ass with the other things going on in life, so I won't have the opportunity to drink.
-
it happend to me when I turned 19.....trust me, the more you get older, the worse it gets.
-
Welcome to the system! They just raise the age limits for alcohol, cigarettes, casino's and stuff like that, just to make sure people get hooked on it by the time they're allowed to use it. Don't you just love that?

I drank like that before I turned 21. Once I turned 21 I didn't start drinking more (as in more days out of the week), I just started going to bars rather than parties. Then I would be going to way more bars rather then parties. Then it became I rarely ever go to a party, and only to the bars. And bars are not cheap, they end up taking a lot out of your monthly income. Back when I was in highschool or early college, I could pitch in a few bucks for the keg, $5 or less everytime, and get drunk. But now at the bars its very easy to spend $50 to get drunk. I'm 26 now, and I don't really party that often anymore. Probably on avg I now go out and party 1 time in 2 weeks. When I was 19, 20 I would be partying 5 days a week on avg, mondays and tuesdays would usually be the only days off a lot of the time. I drink way more now than I did at 21, as far as how much alchohol I could drink in one day, but I drink way less, as far as how often I drink.

The age is 19 in BC. I did most of my heavy drinking before that, once I turned 19, it was mostly clubs. Now I'm 23 and I'm getting tired of clubs. I'd rather get like 10 people at someones house/apartment and just chill.

Thats what i did when i went to Victoria to kick it with some friends, except sometimes when we went downtown and basically partied until the cops came, or the drunk tank, a few of us got thrown in up there. its more funnier now when i think about it, it was 3 years ago.

that's what this fucking 21+ drinking age is doing to young Americans. It's fucking retarded

lol, i'd hate to live in America. England's for winners!
i been hitting pubs since i was 14, and been clubbing since i was 16-17. on a good night out i'll easily spend more than £100 (about $200). Hitting big clubs i've spent more than £150 before. don't do casino's they're for losers who think they can win. but the more you go, the more you lose.
Remember, you're not alcoholics. you guys drink Bud Light and shit. Start drinking the Stella and you'll know about it after 3 cans lol. From experience Americans can't drink for shit!
You'll be able to smoke me out, but then again i'm in the Army so i can't smoke. I'll drink you under the table though! :P :P :P

Hearing all this talk about how much money you guys spend on alcohol makes me feel good that I don't drink alcohol 8) Every time you get drunk, about 40 euros (or more depending on how much you drink) stays in my pockets...

rofl, been drinking since the age of 15... i feel sorry for yall americans
-
i do drink 2-3 beers every day, after the job, but i don't get drunk, just on parties and when i got to a club. I know it's not a good thing to drink alcohol every day though, i might stop and drink on special occasion
-
I think not drinking is missing out on one of the fundamental experiences of life tho.
Don't get me wrong, if someone cut me a cheque for all the money I've spent on booze over the years, I'd be quite happy. :D

That sounds funny as hell ;D But yeah, I think I know what you mean. I used to drink every now & then though when I was 16 and I got drunk once, but I just didn't find it anything special. So I simply decided not to drink anymore...
I'm not saying that I will never drink a cocktail anymore when I'm older, but definitely not as much as the 'regular' guy...
-
welcome to the club.

Last time I was in Vic I didn't even bother going ot the club. The clubs there suck. So instead we tried to crash a party at the Empress hotel lol.
