Title: Daz was in The Wash?!?!
Post by: Chad on August 12, 2006, 04:50:33 AM
I just got done watching The Wash on dvd, and I never noticed before, but Daz was in that movie...I knew Kurupt was, but with the beef that Dre & Daz have had since Death Row, I thought it was odd that they were even in a scene together...even tho it was for only like 10 seconds...

When Dre & Snoop have that argument in front of the car wash about snoop dealing....in the next scene or 2 after that, snoop's dealing again to 2 lil' homieson the side of the building, and the guy on the left is Daz

lol yeah of coures this is all the ppl on it>>>>BRAND NEW & SEALED SOUNDTRACK CD THE WASH Song List 1. On The Boulevard - Dr. Dre/Snoop Dogg 2. Benefit Of The Doubt - Truth Hurts/Shaunta 3. Blow My Buzz - D12 4. Bring 2 - Bilal 5. Bad Intentions - Dr. Dre/Knoc-Turn'al 6. Get F***ed Up With Me - Xzibit 7. My High - Yahroo 8. Holla - Busta Rhymes 9. Bubba Talk - Bubba Sparxxx 10. Good Lovin' - Shaunta 11. Riding High - Daks/R.C. 12. Gotta Get Dis Money - Soopafly 13. Don't Talk **** - OX 14. Everytime - Toi 15. Str8 West Coast - Knoc-Turn'al 16. No - Joe Beast 17. Wash, The - Dr. Dre/Snoop Dogg Album Notes THE WASH is a good-natured romp that showcases not only the musical talents of lauded West Coast rappers Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, but the pair's unexpected acting abilities as well. Centered around the action at a car wash, the film boasts a soundtrack that unsurprisingly features some of the best hip-hop you're likely to find in our outside the vicinity of the silver screen. Naturally, there are tracks from Dre and Snoop, including the pumping mission statement "On the Blvd.," but other high-end rappers such as Xzibit and Busta Rhymes are on hand as well, making this soundtrack a wealth of hip-hop riches. To keep things from getting too monochromatic, neo-soul crooner Bilal offers a tune as well; his "Bring 2" is a churning, funky number full of melodic twists and turns, effectively balancing off the work of his rapping peers.

Pretty cool to see Pooh and Dre produce together, the Truth Hurts and the Joe Beast tracks (both done by Mel-Mal) were smashing (plus other tracks were good) but overall I gotta say Snoop's Bones Soundtrack was wayyy better!

Way better? I think they were pretty even, but I'd still take "The Wash OST" over "Bones OST"...PeACe.

The Wash, On the boulevard > EVERYTHING on ANY West Coast soundtrack since Next Friday

The Wash was great, at first a disappointment cuz it was supposed to be all Dre/Snoop, but looking back it had some GREAT songs, Busta's Holla was on there as well, and Bat Intentions was this shit, incredible beat...........

To me, Kokane was HORRIBLE on On the Boulevard, but i still love the song, especially Snoop's line "Ya'll muthafukkas know me/i smoke a lot of week and say "fuck a pass" like Kobe!"

I'm still pissed I bought The Wash OST. Only felt the Dre/Snoop tracks, everything else was either horrible or forgettable.

Yea, i remember Daz was on his website making a big deal out of being on the movie.. He said he was talkin to Eminem about joining Shady Records..

I remember on his main website one of the webmasters made a graph art of "Daz Dillinger: Tha Black Phathom.... Coming soon on Shady Records" and they deleted it once a forum member found it..
