I donno...maybe because Cube has done a lot more in the mainstream eye without the Jheri Curl. It's people who ask me, "Is DJ Quik still around?" because he was biggest back then.

DJ Quik kept the Jheri- Curl alive on the West Coast well into the '90s. Maybe this wasn't such a good thing, but hey, it was his thing.
