I heard it's damn wack. Haven't heard the whole thing myself though, not yet. But the songs that leaked before didn't really get me hyped or anything... And they leaked quite a few. That Morris Brown was a fun little tune to listen to once or twice (after which it got boring), but the rest I heard... nah. Not for me.

However, the shit could be magic when you got the movie along with it. Remains to be seen. I'm checkin' the movie out anyway.

Shit is crazy on a musical level with the talent these two guys posess.  However from a hip-hop standard this is below average.  As far as ranking my top 5 so far this year (havent listened to Meth yet but I got it) I would go:

1. Busta Rhymes-Big Bang
2. Ghostface-Fishscale
3. Roots-Game Theory
4. Pharell-In My Mind
5. Dogg Pound-Cali Iz Active

Obie's album is solid and so was Rhymefest's and Cube's.  Outkast kind of went in a different direction with their last two albums but from a HIP HOP standpoint I aint feeling it

im fucking loving this soundtrack so far. so many strong cuts. im definitely copping this album. im so tired of gangsta rap, about time something this fresh has hit mainstream.
