"Iverson for McGrady? A Houston Chronicle blog suggests Iverson is still on the block (that's the rumor part) and proposes this deal." (http://earlyword.blogspot.com/)
"The Houston press is also pushing for a T-Mac-for-Iverson trade, which is interesting, because there aren't any guarantees with A.I., either." (http://msn.foxsports.com/fantasy/story/5872398)
"Webber trade? Last night on NBC10's Sports Final, Howard shared word that Sixers GM Billy King nixed a trade of megabucks forward Chris Webber to the N.Y. Knicks. Coming to Phili would have been guard Quentin Richardson and forward Maurice Taylor, Eskin confirms via email. Richardson's tradable, and the other player's contact is up after this year, so it was a golden opportunity to dump the bloating contract of the aging, aching, defensively-challenged Webber, Eskin said last night." Interesting...Doesn't really look like it's going to happen though, but you never know...PeACe

shit, that would be crazy!

Yea, but I believe Philadelphia would suffer from both trade scenerios...

Philly really should trade AI AND Webber cuz they are going nowhere with them.
-
i doubt thats going to happen but like you said you never know

I honestly don't think they'd get any players nearly as valuable if Iverson and Webber were traded, especially due to their salaries...They need to do something quick though...PeACe

exactly but with AI and Webber they still aint goin nowhere....with a good GM, it doesnt take long to rebuild a team, but you do need cap room.

the sixers can still build around Iverson, they'd be CRAZY to give him up for someone, unless it was someone like Wade , Lebron, Brand or someone franchise worthy and young. And i doubt that's going to happen since all of those players are also set in with their current franchise.
U mean to tell me the sixers think they can do better with Tmac.Ha, one bad play and dude is out with back spasms for a month, then you don't have a leg to stand on. At least with Iverson you get a player who will be their for the mjaority of the season score 30-35 points a game and bring in a lot of revenue through merchandise. Trust me , there's no way the sixers can trade up or for equal value for iverson.
again with iverson there's still time to build around him

I woulnt trade A.i for Mcgrady. Mcgrady is younger and has lots of talent. A.I Has tons of talent as well and is amzing shooter but look at his team when hes not surrounded well.

Well, I personally believe it's a much better idea to build around Iverson, especially taking into account T-Mac's medical history and lack of passion on the defensive end. Also, he actually lead a team to the finals, so it's not like he's your loser of a franchise player...Yao & T-Mac are most likely gunna get another chance to live up to their hype, but if they blow it again this year (as I'm expecting), definitely look for T-Mac to get traded...PeACe

Yea youre right, i said what i said but i hate t-mac and i am a Iverson fan i think he plays hard were as Mcgrady seems to think he can rely on his talent. My bball knowledge is limited im more into baseball and hockey but its aalways fun to debate it.
With that said i think Toronto made amistake years back trading away Mcgrady instead of V Carter.
