Title: ME AGAINST THE WORLD VS. ILLMATIC
Post by: I TO DA GEEZY on January 03, 2002, 10:34:31 PM: ....imo there aint no competition on this one...pac takes it easily....but when i put on "ready to die vs illmatic" thread most peepz said illmatic waz better (it aint my opinion tho....)
i jus wanna see how yall get outa this one ;D....spit yo opinionz....and explain yo choices...

i prefer Me Against the world over illmatic (it's probably a cardinal sin , but hey that's just how i feel)

I really dont see the big deal with ILLMATIC. Lyrically it was great . But the beats were delicate as fuck . And the 2 of them were really shitty samples . Plus Nas spits with the same flow the whole album . Not diverse at all .

well in my opinion matw is not taht great music either well at least compared to illmatic. i thought illmatic was a much better album and i hate nas but i still have to give him credit for this album.

Trust me, there is alot you dont know about me. Pac is my all-time fav MC ever, and MATW might be one of the top 3 albums EVER recorded. Illmatic is incredible, one of the 10 greatest albums ever, but MATW is at least equal, if not better.
