Out of these 3 .
Scott Storch , Fredwreck , Alchemist
Storch is comin off 4 bangin tracks for Mobb Deeps Infamy album . Some serious heat he did for that album. But has he validated himself just yet ? Is it too early too judge ? Hmmmm . P.S. Is it just me or does "LIVE FOUL" sound exactly like "LIGHT SPEED" ? Did he ghost produce for Dre on 2001 ?
Alchemist produced "Get At Me" from that same Mobb Deep album . One of the best beats ive heard all year (2001 that is) But will he ever run out of shit to sample . As most of his beats are sampled from old R&B tracks . Plus he produces for damn near everybody in the industry nowadays . Does anybody smell a burnout ? Hmmm.
Fredwreck continues to bring that gangsta funk . "Dum Ditty Doo Doo" most notably as of late 8) . Are his beats gettin too repetitive ? Not diverse ? Does he take the cake ?
In 5 to 10 years ....... who do you think will still be hott ? Who will fall out ? Who will still be makin hott beats ? You be the judge

alchemist all the way. have you heard:
come thru - noreaga and styles
we gon make it - jada
the forest - ghost
any of those could be voted beat of the year. and i don't think any of those were samples either.
-
i think all 3 are dope, but i think scott storch gonna be makin hits for people on all coasts soon, which poeple on all coasts will wanna hear. he sick with the keys 2.
peace

Fredwreck.
We gotta see Scott Storch do some work on his own to see what he can do.
-
fred wreck ;D
-
fredwreck. i like his sound more.
-
I'll pick the Alchemist. He had many front runners for Beat of the year (Home sweet home by Ras, Worse comes to Worst by DP's, fallen soldiers by cormega and many others). Always tight, always consistent.
I wouldve picked Fred, but he needs to do alil more beats this year. He dropped pure fire on Space boogie though

sup frettt?
-
fred wreckkkkkkkkkk...........
-
Fredwreck and Alchemist are probably on the same level
alchemist isn't really that good of an actual producer, almost every single one of his beats relys on a straight sample lift, but he provides appealing music
and Fredwreck is a pretty good producer, but not every thing he makes is that appealing or sounds like a generic or brand x version of a dre beat

Fred Wreck just cus he sounds with that G Funk and Dre-like sound. His beats are tight to me.
Alchemist is tight as well...
