Title: Ras Kass - Rassasination
Post by: IKON on January 01, 2002, 08:59:19 AM
I picked up Ras Kass "Rassasination". Not a bad cd but the production could have been a little better. I was really looking for Soul On Ice(I have seen it a few times, but can't recall where) but I found Rassasination instead. Its pretty good.

How's the Van Gogh Promo???

Iam still going to look for Soul On Ice cause I swear I have seen it.

The Van Gogh promo wasn't all that hot, hasn't he gone back to the studio to change it all?

nah, you probably downloaded the DMS bootleg. basically they took the Van Gogh promo and added some old Ras Kass joints, including one from a mixtape.  It doesn't even have God Bless.

I just d/l Van Gogh and I was dissapointed big time. Ras tried to go too much gangsta and bling bling with this album. Iam glad he didn't release it cause he would have lost much respect. Its got some good songs but it is nowhere near his level. Iam glad he got Dr.Dre on production.
