read this sites review of dj quiks cd, its obviously some "hiphop head" if u get me. rhythmalism is one of the best cds ever haha

There is absolutely nothing hot on this LP.Throughout, the entire LP, Dj Quik wastes time flowing about hoes, hoes, and of course, more hoes. Anybody tired of emcees talking about their wack "playa" tactics? Rhythm-al-ism is far from commercial-free music that the album slogan proclaims. This is definitely one of the worst albums of '98.
All of the tracks on this album are on that "wannabe playa" tip. Every song is about hoes and "pu-nanny." From beginning to end, there is nothing positive or dope about this LP. Additionally, even cameos done by Snoop and Nate Dogg only damage this album further.
If there is an album you should probably avoid, Rhythm-al-ism by Dj Quik is it. This album is one of the weakest of the year. Besides the production, this whole LP is practically unoriginal, uncreative, and fake (i.e. Dj Quik in reality is not a playa or pimp, nor is Snoop who is married with children).

personally i think it's a great album... but his arguement has some valid points, and i could see how he'd dislike it.

if hoes iz what u like...rap hoez, if hoes is what u do....or what u used to do...rap hoes....and whether snoop is a playa now or just used to be...u can't say it's cuz he iz married wit kidz...cuz think how many marriagez get recked every year by a guy luvin' his hoe'z too much! sayin someone can't be a playa cuz they married is like saying michael barrimore was never married...cuz he was and he iz gay!!
and as 4 other ppl...just cuz he don't like this album don't mean he isnt a true west coast fan...u can't say that....he has the right to his opinion...and the right to not like an artist whether he has a decent excuse or not!!
