the Gz Up, Hoes Down song hidden on it like I do? What do you think it's worth? And how possible is it that somebody in the world has a copy of this album with the OG The Next Episode?? I heard that a few were sold before it was pulled off the shelves....I mean, with the internet what it is, shouldn't that have become available at least once??

its not worth a lot.. theres quite a few out there.. (doggystyle probably shipped gold/plat so theres at least that many copies out there... ).... i have it on CD _and_ on Vinyl.
as for next episode.. apparently doesnt exist.. it'd be available if it were out there
i've never heard about doggystyle on tape having gz up hoez down or not.. anyone know?
-
I think copies usually sell for about double the price of a normal cd and yeah The Next Episode was never on any versions of the album, there is a low quality version which leaked though.
-
It's not THAT rare; the entire first shipment (which consisted of 1,000s of CDs) had "Gz Up, Hoez Down".

the first shipment consisted of waaaaaaay more then 1k cd´s. Doggystyle sold 800k in the first week and that was more then likely not the entire first shipment.

the last one i sold on ebay was for 43 dollars. I still have 5 more OG copies.

I know...that's why I said "1000s", implying MORE than 1,000. Although the first week sales do NOT represent only the first shipment.

I have a copy and I don't play it. I have the newer version that I play. The older one is on a shelf. I bought it from my cousin that bought his back in 1993.

It was printed on the back cover, but was not included on the cd itself.

but Don Jacob claimed for how many years he had it on cd? what a lying moron

Yeah I remember hearing that they printed the covers out before the CD's, and when they were denied permission to use those songs on the album, they took it off before they pressed it.
I would guess that the company Warren G's album was released on was able to get the sample cleared, since he had a song on his album with the same sample.

I dun remember 'Gz Up, Hoes Down' on my tape, lost it yonks ago.

same with the tapes seer. theres the normal one, one with gz up and one with gz up and next episode, which is only listed on the cover.
