The rumored collaboration between Chamillionaire and 50 Cent has been officially confirmed...
SOHH recently caught up with Chamillionaire during "MTV's Video Music Awards" press forum and the Houston bred emcee revealed that him and the G-Unit honcho have worked on some material.
"I bumped into 50 in NY a couple of weeks ago, and he hollered at me and said he wanted to do some stuff, next day Sha Money hit me up and put me on some records," explained Cham. "I really don't like to say nothing until it gets cleared, and everything goes through cause I don't like to say I'm a be on something and then get pulled off."
"So yeah, I'm definitely been messing around with them," Cham continued. " They been showing love, and I've been messin' with his DJ, DJ Whoo Kid and Lil' Scrappy, he just shot a video, he's with G-Unit now and he put me in the video, so it's a good look," he added.
In related news, Chamillionaire is contending for "Best Rap Video" for his single "Ridin'" at tonight's "MTV Video Music Awards" (August 31). The award show will be broadcast live from RadioCityMusic Hall at 8pm est.

I agree. Just that I don't want more than that..I respect Koopa more than G unit click, and I think he doesn't belong there. I hope they're not tryin to recrute him or sumthin...That would be sad to hear.

but on topic... yeah i'd like to hear this, whether its "commerical" or not, itll still be a good collabo... just hope that hes smart enough to not sign with 50... but somehow i can see it happening :-\

It'll be interesting to hear cause I've always thought Chamillionaire sounds a lot like 50 used to sound before he got shot, plus he does better hooks than 50 these days.

What do you mean? Young Buck does guest appearances on almost every Southern rap album that comes out these days...he seems to have far more respect in the South than 50 has in NYC. Shit, I expect that when G-Unit falls off, Buck can sign with another label in the South and still do pretty well.
