Krayzie Bone's been "Ridin" high lately with Chamillionaire, but he hasn't forgotten his harmonious roots.
Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Krayzie's group since the early '90s, have two new albums on the horizon, beginning with September 19's Thug Stories.
That album, the follow-up to 2002's Thug World Order, marks the group's first release as a trio, since Bizzy Bone is no longer in the group, leaving Krayzie, Layzie Bone and Wish Bone (Flesh-N-Bone is serving a 10-year sentence for armed assault.) The first single is the just-released "Don't Stop."
While Thug Stories is a somewhat low-key affair, the second new Bone Thugs album, expected in late 2006, is being overseen by Swizz Beatz (who brought the group to Interscope Records) and will feature a bevy of big names.
"We got Dr. Dre, we got Three 6 Mafia, we got Kanye West, we got a lot of people on the album," Krayzie said. "We got Mariah Carey. She promised that she was gonna do a song with us once, and she kept her promise."
Akon and Ice Cube also show up on the album, which has yet to be titled, and verses Flesh-N-Bone recorded behind bars may also appear.
"Everybody is excited to come back, 'cause Bone is where it started from," said Krayzie, who is also developing a sneaker line called TL Classics.

they need bizzy even if he is a crackhead
-
should be some great songs on those albums
-
Hopefully both of these aren't frisbees like 'Thug World Order' and 'Bone Brothers' were. Im sure 'The Bone Thugs Story' will be bangin though.

Alright! A Bone album that will sound like every other fucking mainstream album released in the last couple years! That's what I've been feenin for ::)
-
Has Bone Thugz done a track with Dre before?

Bone's style has always been so unique that it's kinda hard to think that would be the case, even if they are using a standard line-up of big-name producers. Krayzie has always sounded dope on Lil Jon beats, for example.
As long as they don't make an album as shitty as "BTNH Resurrection" and "Thug World Order", I'll be happy.

Can't wait for both album's 2 drop!! Nah, Dre has never done a track wid 'em!!

LOL YA KNOW

I can't believe people thought BTNHRessurection was shitty. I've heard a few tracks off this new album and "Still No Surrender" is so damn smooth. If the album has anymore songs on that level I'm coppin it.

Yeah I won't front, Krayzie can slice up those Lil Jon beats nicely. I'm not even sayin that the album won't be dope, I'm just saying that it's extremely played out - it's like every album released has the exact same producer lineup.
-
^^^^^ Indeed, but as long as they shine over that production, I won't complain much. I mostly just hate it when the production roster is completely unsuited to the artist (i.e. Snoop is WAY too laid-back to be rapping on most Lil Jon beats).
Bone, on the other hand, has generally shown an ability to sound good over just about any type of production, especially Krayzie and Layzie.

"BTNHResurrection" > anything Bone will ever release again.

Heres ALL the snippets from the THUGS STORIES cd coming out next week.

The cd sounds laydback. No real hard songs on there but alot of good soft songs it sounds like.

^^Good...That's the style that fits them best.

Sad, but true.
Their new stuff has been the best material they've put out in years though. Still, it ain't the same without that crackhead, Bizzy.
